I used this tool. It was very easy and straight forward to delid the CPU with it.
    https://www.caseking.de/en/der8auer-delid-die-mate-2-fsd8-019.html

Use liquid metal on the CPU die for the best results. I used Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut. You can use normal paste but you will have to replace it from time to time and you will not get as much temperature improvements as with the liquid metal. (I got 23*C better temperatures after delid with liquid metal).

Use a credit card or any plastic card to scrub the black goo from the PCB away easily and without risk of damaging anything.
Use Isopropyl alcohol and coffee filter or tissue/toilet paper to clean the CPU die from the old stuff.

Don't bother gluing the IHS back on the CPU. Just place it there and clamp it. The pressure from the motherboard clamp on the socket will hold it there just fine. Just make sure the IHS won't move/slide while you will be clamping it, hold it there with your finger until it is clamped.

Mount the cooler very carefully afterward, don't overtighten the screws and avoid too much pressure.

I ended up replacing my 780 simply because of Vram bottlenecks. 3GB just isn't enough anymore. So I replaced it with a 1080ti because I figured the 11GB of Vram would make a big difference in its lifespan.

The thing is that i have a gtx 1080ti and i play at 1440p resolution. The most Vram i've used so far for me is just under 4 gig vram and that was on games like GTA 5 and Ghost Recon Wildlands. Played quite a few games but ive not seen any games yet which ive played which up the vram usuage to over 4 gig LOL.

Just built a new PC today. Running a 7700K on an Asus Z270H with a Kracken X62 cooler.

Was thinking getting a 5.0Ghz OC would be a cake walk on this set up, but I can't even get the thing higher than stock speeds.

For example, when setting my multiplier to just 47 with manual core voltage to 1.3v, the computer won't even boot into windows. At 1.4v
it would boot windows but get blue screen immediately after starting AIDA64.

Do I just have the worst 7700K in the world? Like what the hell...

As a proud owner of a Xonar Essence STX this video has got my jimmies rustled to say the least. I can't say I find it easy to believe what they're saying. It seems highly unlikely to me that an entire category of PC products is useless and only sells based on marketing and false information.
That said I also don't see Logan as someone who would make a video like this without doing his homework first. I don't know what to think.
I'd be really curious to see what Linus thinks of this, since he seems to be a strong advocate for Asus sound cards.

I feel like I shouldn't even respond to a post like this cause you're either trying to be a troll our you clearly don't quite grasp what it is you're talking about. You say Corsair Keyboards are overpriced because other brands make cheaper models, but you're comparing them to models like the Poseidon and Quickfire which were built to be made for as cheaply as possible. Those keyboards are all plastic, and completely bare-bones in terms of functionality. The K70 has a molded sheet of brushed aluminum over the top of it, programmable key by key lighting, Full N-Key Rollover, high quality dedicated media buttons, and a USB hub.
You may not need those features, or even like them, but those features all contribute to the K70's higher price tag. It is not overpriced, it just has more stuff in it then less expensive keyboards do.
The K70 RGB and K90 RGB are also not overpriced. For your extra $40 you're getting a newly engineered switch by Cherry that probably took a lot of R&D to produce. And since Corsair has exclusivity for that switch it probably means that they payed for Cherry's R&D out of their own pocket. Then there's the cost of the panasonic controller that needed to be implemented in the keyboard to control all the complex functionality of those LEDs. The MX RGB also comes with a brand new software suite created just for these new keyboards. A software that is far more complex and flexible than anything released on other mechanical keyboards as of late.
TL;DR, the extra $40 is a steal for the functionality being put in to this keyboard. If you don't want it, DON'T BUY IT, but don't go running your mouth off when you clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

Phanteks just released their latest enclosure, the Enthoo Pro. A chassis that is absolutely packed with features, can be fully disassembled, and comes in at only $100. Wow.

The NZXT H440 was already an insane value, but this undercuts its price by 30% and is packed with even MORE  features.

It still has 3 more optical drive bays than I need. I hate the fact that you can't put a proper 360 in there, it's neat for its price but could be so much more with a little price premium.
