WIth my Gigabyte 970 I've had to lessen the memory usage with GTA V, but having the extra fast 500MB of vram on the 980 could be put to better use in 1440p gaming.

Sorry, I had already talked about some parts in previous threads so I didn't mention other components. I will be using this for gaming, but I am a multitasker as well and can afford to get the i7 so I went with that CPU. With the GPU, I plan on going SLI with the 970's, but right now I will not need it. (Thus the amount of PSU watts chosen) I figured two SSD's should be fine for now, but I will definitely get a bigger drive when I need more than 490GB of storage.
