  1. Update: After much more research even if most people said it's not the PSU I decided to Upgrade to a Seasonic PX-1600. Guess what, it finally works as intended. Turns out it was, in fact, the PSU. P.S. I know it's a bit overkill but I just wanted the PSU to never be an issue again for me. The uncapped issues are still going on as before but that's a game issue. Difference is not when I cap it at 240 it stays mostly at 240 some drops to 239 or 238 rarely but that's it for the whole game. Before I had constant dips to even 70 fps and it would stay at about 100 for the most time but oscillating between 160-120. Thanks for all your help
  2. I experimented with almost every combination of settings, framerate is capped, the vsync is on and also adaptive sync, but I did try vsync on and adaptive off and framerate capped and uncapped etc... Also the issues are in all games, not only League. Now I experience fps drops in Diablo IV and as far as I know it is really not that demanding of a game. Also the fans sometime ramp up while just watching video games. If I play Anno 1404 the fans are at high speed constantly while in the game. I repasted and reset the AIO CPU cooler several times as well, not to mention I changed 2 motherboards and 3 different CPUs.... I tried all the BIOSes available at launch... issues persisted. Besides the PSU and maybe the AIO... but the temps are not that high on the cpu, I mean they are higher than the old one but... I don't know. For example now I just have chrome discord and slack opened and it sits at about 56 Celsius. Could it be the AIO that starts to fail and maybe the CPU throttles in game?... I really am clueless at this point
  3. In the meantime since I have these issues I switched ISPs and even the country I'm living in. I live in Europe. The issues persisted. used to have 100mbps connection, now I have 1gbps. Thanks for your answer but this doesn't seem to be the issue.
  4. It's League of legends, but I have performance issues in Diablo IV as well, only fps drops and I can see it's running at low fps in general even with DLSS in performance mode. Also in league of legends my old pc with i9-9900KF and the RX 5700XT was more stable than it is now. I use same SSD and PSU from the old build. If you say the PSU is not the issue I'm really desperate now.. I have no Idea what to do. Because I know for a fact a Ryzen 9 7900x with RTX 3080 should not have fps drops to under 100fps in 1440P (High/medium) and not being able to run it at Highest settings without the character glitching and stuttering while changing directions... The PSU is a Seasonic Prime 80+ Titanium, that's why I didn't wanna change it because it was pretty expensive even if it is only 750w... I really hoped that power was the issue....
  5. Hello, I will try to explain my problems in as short of a manner as possible but it's a long story and it might be a long post. Starting with the main issue that started when I upgraded my Samsung 144hz 1080p basic qled monitor to an Odyssey G7 1440p 240Hz and my most played game which is a "certain e-sports title game" started not being stable at 240fps, because of the jump from 1080p to a 1440p probably, even if it should've worked well (I think). Had random FPS drops, not running smooth etc. My old PC had an i7-8700k an asus strix z370-e and an RX5700 XT Nitro+ GPU and I used it even before I got the , which I upgraded in 2021 to a i9-9900kF (best I could do for that motherboard) then I stumbled upon an opportunity to gift myself an RTX 3080 Strix (August 2022) which I took, thinking it would solve my fps problem. After I got the 3080, the FPS problems were basically the same so I thought, maybe it's time of a pc Upgrade because the CPu might actually be the bottleneck, the certain esports title game being CPU bound mostly. So in january-February 2023 I got myself a new pc keeping some parts from the old one like the 1TB M.2 SSD from samsung which was still ok some HDDs, a 360 AIO for the CPU (ML360 Mirror from CM) etc. Ended up going for AMD ( a bit risky because of the DDR5 first gen etc), changed the case and fans as well. So I got myself a B650-A Strix and a Ryzen 5 7600x (budget) as well as 64GB of DDR5 4x16GB (know what you think a 2x16 sticks kit was actually free, don't ask) Designed for EXPO TridentZ5 at 6000 MT/s (old DDR4 was also TridentZ and I was happy with it) Ended up having bigger issues and the game was actually started running almost or actually even worse than the i9-9700k and RX5700xt wich was really frustrating having drops to 120fps and the game really wasn't running that smooth overall, even if it went to like 700fps in the first few 10-20 seconds of the game when almost nothing was happening on screen. Also the fans were going crazy even when doing basic stuff even when discord was loading after turning on the PC. Trying to troubleshoot I actually changed the CPU for a different NEW Ryzen 5 7600X (the exact same) and after a week the motherboard from the B650A Strix to a B650E-F Strix (mainly to verify it isn't the issue but also because the B650A was the only white thing in my whole setup, desk, speakers, heaset, all other peripherals, chair, case and everything else being black, and the B650E-F is black as well). Nothing helped, same issues. Then I heard about Ryzen having issues with the EXPO with 4 sticks of Ram, even if I never had a bsod or anything I had some instances where it wouldn't boot, stuck on checking DDR and all that. Because of this after I tried and saw things were better with 2 sticks of DDR5 I decided to return 2 sticks of DDR5 and the Ryzen 5 7600x and without adding any amount of extra cash, just for those 2, I got myself a Ryzen 9 7900X trying to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Surprise surprise, with the R9 7900X things got even worse, having visual glitches when trying to move the character around quickly and also the dips to like 140, maybe more sometimes which really shouldn't happen with the hardware. The problems with the fans randomly ramping up were still a thing but not that much. After that I had to move to a different country and everything was on hold for a while, I started troubleshoothing again about a month ago but I didn't have much time. I played with all the monitor or gsync settings, DDU-ed the drivers multiple times, tried all the Bios-es from Asus ETC. Have to also add that the performance in other games wasn't stellar as well. When I stumbled upon a guide that asked me to delete some settings folders from that particular esports game and I was amazed, finally the glitches when trying to move the character quickly were gone, also the fps were a bit higher but I still had the dips, game was more playable tho. I thought I fixed it, I was wrong. After like a week it started doing the same thing, ended up deleting those folders again and then I realized. Deleting those files was locking my FPS at 240 and also putting the game on medium/low details, that's why it worked. I was so fucking frustrated, the game runs at 140fps with my very old pc running an i5-2500k and a GTX 1060 that I still have at my parent's place, at 1080p to be fair but STILL this is amazongly annoying at this point for me. Sorry for the long post. I intentionally avoided to say my PSU details.... and this I think it might be the problem but I'm not sure. I still kept my 750W PSU from the old build, because it's a Seasonic Prime 80+ Titanium and I didn't have the budget for a PSU ( couldn't afford a 1000W or 1200W Prime from Seasonic because I wouldn't go for anything else). All this because I wanted a really good case for an AIO CPU cooler that has to be future proof, and I spent most of it on a Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL (My old case was a Bequiet Dark Base 700 which is terrible for the AIO) to which I added 10x CM MF120 Halo ARGB Fans wich consume some power as well.... I know, mistakes were made, both with the old and the new build Since I had no power offs from the PSUs I never thought about it being the problem. My question for the more experienced amongst you is.. do you think that upgrading to a 1000W PSU could resolve my issues? Are the new good PSUs built this way that they will handle Power hungry GPUs/CPUs in a way that it won't turn off but you will lose performance in the process? Is this something that happened to any of you, pc having performance issues because of low power but without the PC losing power completely and turning itself off? If you need more details or you think something else might be the problem.. do not hesitate to share or ask (for more info). P.S. I do know my exact RTX 3080 Strix asks for a minimum of a 850W PSU, I knew before I ordered it but after it worked and did a couple of stress tests with it and the PC not crashing I thought it wasn't an issue. I also experimented with a RX 6900XT from ASRock before I bought the RTX 3080 ( same issues) so it's not the GPU, also with a 6950 Nitro+ from Sapphire that was actually broken and did not work at all, both were returned. P.P.S I did a clean windows 11 install after the upgrade to the Ryzen from the i9-9700K
  6. Hello, thanks for your help. I just checked the 2 videos that you have sent and I already did most of the stuff but also tried it again, with no success. As for the malware.. it was a clean windows install, and had no issues of this sort with the old PC. I have no Idea what is wrong and I'm starting to think that a new more powerful PSU wont be able to help me either..

  8. How do you explain that with my RX380 and RX480 I got more than 300 fps at times and it was around 250, card was working at 100% in the same game with the same CPU. Also the card sits at 50-60% even in Destiny 2 or GTA 5 or other games. even if it doesnt even hit the targeted 144fps.
  9. I feel you. With RX 380 and RX 480 I didnt have this issue, I sometimes even got more than 300 fps in League.. With the Vega 64 and the 5700XT I have this issue where it just won't crank up to 100%.
  10. But is it at 97%+ usage all the time?
  11. Vsync always off even from Radeon software
  12. Update, sorry to disturb you again In Destiny 2 I get around 120 fps and the card is maxing out about 65% usage.... This is really annoying. The card can obviously get 144 fps stable for my 144hz monitor but it just wont crank up the usage at 100%. Turns out it was not only on the not demanding games.
  13. Just finished a game now with overlay from AMD software and GPU ran at 12% usage most of the time spiking to 20 or a bit more than 20 at times but that's it
  14. I'm pretty clean with my windows, I avoid installing things as much as possible and clean it regularly I highly doubt it's that. Especially since in other games it runs just fine.. I just wondered if I could hear from someone that had this same issue and fixed it, since from my research I'm not the only one experiencing this.
