  1. It appears a recent survey concluded that consumers are more satisfied with the Galaxy S6 Edge than consumers that own the Galaxy S7. It appears that consumers prefer thinner designs rather than thicker design that enable better battery life through bigger batteries. Surprisingly, the iPhone SE scored the highest in this survey. It seems the masses have spoken- Consumers prefer thinner, sleeker phones over bulkier phones. Edit: my thoughts: I upgraded from the iPhone 5s to the S7 last year and it did take a bit to get used to. Using the S8 now, it feels thinner than the S7, but it looks like the thickness is still the same. If other manufacturers are able to make a thick phone feel thin, then I'll be ok with that. 2. That home button looks so original.

  4. Don't bother with any power saving modes because you're just crippling your device.
  5. Chrome randomly started bolding text and it's super annoying. I've already tried resetting chrome, deleting my chrome profile, and reinstalling chrome..... and it is still not fixed. How do I fix this?
  6. Although this is a little over the $25 requirement, the original was regularly under $20 and should have made the list- https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Devastator-II-SGB-3030-KKMF1-US/dp/B01CDYAF28/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486881818&sr=8-1&keywords=cm+devastator
  7. That looks like a micro usb port? Long live that horrible port.
  8. Yep, ridiculously difficult to run. No matter what graphics settings you run it at, you will always be cpu bottlenecked.
  9. To fix stuttering in GTA5 as well as any other game- Open Nvidia Control Panel Go to Manage 3D settings Go to Program Settings Click Add if gta5 isn't in the list and add it In "Specify the settings for this program", change shader cache to off Click apply In doing so, the load times will be substantially longer, but as long as your cpu is fast enough, the game will be smoother and there will be less stuttering and juddering from trying to load the cache from your disk drive.
  10. You're right. Why would I want a Model T if it's slow, dangerous to drive, and pricey for it's hp to cost ratio?
  11. You could probably do 8 hours or so, although with the iPad, you won't need to max the brightness because its max brightness is higher than the Samsung.
  12. AMD has disabled Async Compute for the original GCN cards (7xxx series and some 2xx series) ever since September in driver version 16.9.2. It seems that this change was done intentionally- My thoughts on this is that it really isn't a big deal because Async Compute isn't all that important or beneficial for a better graphic experience. Thoughts? Source: http://www.legitreviews.com/amd-disabled-async-compute-older-gcn-1-0-video-cards_188713
  13. In my experience, iPhone's are much more efficient when they're doing light to medium workloads where the cpu doesn't need to ramp up. My s7 would drain roughly 5% battery streaming to Bluetooth in my car compared to roughly 3% on my old 5s. Due to the bigger battery in the s7, that's equivalent to 10% on the 5s.
  14. Hmmm... Looks like my philosophy of more efficient components with an average sized battery (i.e. the ones in an iPhone) is the optimal way of designing a phone- you don't need to have fast charging to charge a phone fast because it will naturally charge fast with any charger. Because the components are more efficient, there is less heat generated and the battery lives longer.
  15. I can finally watch in HD on chrome?
  16. Please show me where I can get 1080s at $330 USD.
  17. Evga b stock, used prices with a warranty without the gamble. http://www.evga.com/Products/ProductList.aspx?type=8
  18. They're quite poor. They're a little too beats generation which makes the sound very muddy. I much prefer the earpods more flat and slightly bright sound signature to Samsung's.
  19. My opinion on super budget phones? They're never worth it. You're getting a slow phone with limited support, lack of refinement, and more than often, poorly designed. The manufacturer is there to make a quick buck on you because they don't need to continue to invest money to develop software for it.
  20. Why get a nano when you can get the rx 480 or 1060?
  21. Yea, I'm glad as well.https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/NVIDIA/GeForce_GTX_1070/24.html Gonna post the 1080 graph since that's the resolution it's intended for with 4xMSAA
  22. No, at best this test is inconclusive and at worst, it's click bait. If they were to conduct the same test again with a new iPhone 7 and it broke, would you conclude that it doesn't surpass it's IP67 rating?
