  1. I thought about it, but the place where I bought my PSU, doesn't have this model at the moment ( they get more next month ) and fixing this would take 2-3 weeks. Also if the crashing isn't because of the PSU I would get a 30-50€ fine for wasting their time. If I can't figure out the reason for crashing in the next few days I will send my PSU to them.
  2. I don't know if this comment will bump up this thread, but I hope so. The crashing is back,so just in case I bought more RAM ( 16GB total now ) and more fans ( got some noctua fans for cheap so yeah ). They had no effect just like I thought, but at least I have more RAM now I checked Windows event log for critical errors and seems like all the crashes are because of Kernel Power 41 (63) error. I read that many things can cause that so the reason for it might be hard to pinpoint.
  3. Well, it looks like reinstalling Windows did the trick. I installed every software and driver that I need and tried running Shadow of Mordor. I played for almost 3 hours and it didn't crash. Also the high RAM usage got fixed and currently my PC is using just 20% and I have few programs open. Thanks for the help
  4. I have checked for viruses many times and the reason why I have 2 antiviruses is that I just installed Avast after the crashing started just to be sure. Forgot to uninstall it after the virus check. EDIT: I have been avoiding doing this because I don't want to loose my files, but should I reinstall windows?
  5. Yes, both came in the same package and they are the same. There is though a question that I have been meaning to ask since I built this, but never got around doing so: Is it normal to have 50% RAM usage while using just chrome? I had 75% RAM usage when I booted up using just 1 stick. It has been always like this so I doubt that being the problem, but just wanted to know. Here's a pic of my task manager (sorry it's in finnish) : http://gyazo.com/b162b2853246eaec1b8673c86d65f035 Edit: "Suoritin" = CPU is usually at 0%-1%, but now a bit higher since I used gyazo and have about 13 windows open.
  6. Well, I finally finished the memtests ( 8 hours = 15 passes ) for both sticks and neither of them had any errors. Made me wonder about the errors when I ran both sticks at the same time for 4 passes and found out ( I saved the results ) that the errors happened almost at the same time on pass 2/4. I think those errors was my USB sticks fault ( it's old and cheap ) or just some weird error on the softwares part. I have been planning on buying two more 4GB sticks for quite some time, so I guess that I'll order it today/tomorrow. Well, the thing is that I no longer have the old package. Accidentally threw it out along the other trash when I was building my computer. Though the warranty is still active so it doesn't matter currently.
  7. I will do that, but I can't really test the crashing with one stick since it occurs usually during gaming and most of my games requires 8GB RAM and if I take out 1 stick I would only have 4GB left.
  8. I'm still running Memtest, but decided to give a quick update on my 2nd computer. I didn't see that " one stick at a time" before starting so it has been running with both sticks for 3 hours and currently on Pass 4/4. I'm using the USB method. It failed on test 6 two times, so here are the error codes: Test: 6 Addr: 155409870 Expected: 7FFFFFFF Actual: 7FFFFBFF CPU: 0 Test: 6 Addr: 157409850 Expected: 7FFFFFFF Actual: 7FFFFBFF CPU: 0 I saw on some forum that I shouldn't have even 1 error, so just in case I will run 1 stick for the night and 1 stick tomorrow while in school ( both about 8 hours ). What does those errors mean and are they bad?
  9. Well ok then. I'll run it for 1-2 hours and then come back here post the results.
  10. I already tested my RAM with some Asus software ( can't remember the name ) and passed the tests.
  11. I built my computer last summer and it has worked perfectly this far, but few weeks ago it started crashing. Here's the parts list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/CvNY8d ( my 1st GPU is Gigabyte and 2nd MSI, but pcpartpicker didn't allow to pick both ) Every time it crashes, both my screens go black and says no signal. I can still hear the sound for about 10 seconds until the sound starts looping and I have to restart my computer. At first it crashed only about 5-15 min after booting up my computer and after restart it worked just fine, but a week ago it started crashing a bit more randomly and about 5 days ago it started crashing after about 15 min of gaming. I tried all kinds of fixes few days ago and it seemed that the crashing had stopped, but today it started again. My temps are always normal: During high load like gaming: GPU1: 81C, GPU2: 79C and CPU 50-65C. Now (surfing the internet): GPU1: 38C, GPU2: 28C and CPU: 39C During that 2 day break from crashing I could run Heaven benchmark for 1 hour no problems as well as Dragon Age Inquisition and Shadow of Mordor so I know both my GPUs and other components are fine. I also ran full system scan with AVG and Avast so I know I have no viruses. Checked my PC with RegCurePro and some Asus software so my memory and other hardware as well as my files and drivers seems to be fine. Also my BIOS is up to date and I deleted my GPU drivers using DDU and reinstalled them. I haven't tried reintalling Windows, because I have +2TB files that I don't want to lose. I did buy that WiFi adapter in the parts list and a asus rog swift pg278q g-sync screen about one week before the crashing started, but I doubt they are the problem ( removed them and deleted drivers, but no effect ). I really want to get back to playing with my friends so all help is highly welcome. Thanks in advance and sorry for the huge amount of text. TLDR: After about 15min gaming, both my screens go black and says no signal. I can still hear the sound for about 10 seconds until the sound starts looping and I have to restart my computer. EDIT 14.1.: The crashing stopped for 2 days after I reinstalled windows, but I didn't do any gaming on those days, so that's probably why. Anyways the crashing is back!
