  1. Hi! I am very hyped for the new nvidia gtx 1080 card and i really want to own two of those and have them in an sli configuration. But i don't know if i should get a new motherboard and cpu aswell. My motherboard is the Asus Maximus VII Ranger and my cpu is the i7 4770k. The 4770k only supports 2-way SLI/crossfire in a 2x8 conifg. Would it be worth getting a new cpu that can handle two-way sli/crossfire in 2x16 or will the 2x8 be enough for the gtx 1080 cards? (Sorry if my question is hard to fully understand. English is not my mother tongue)
  2. My budget is higher, im from Sweden so the currency here is a bit different. I mainly play csgo and lol. I occasionally test some of the newer game titles but i have a beast computer at home for that. Im looking to build a portable lan gaming pc. So i think the cpu is fine for csgo right? Why not the cx psu, and which one would you recommend instead? Im looking for a modular or semi-modular psu for easier cable management and better airflow.
  3. Hi! I am planing on building a small form factor gaming pc. My components are as follows: gigabyte-ga-f2a88xn-wifi-socket-fm2 Amd 7860k Black edition fm2+. CM Elite 130 mini-itx chassi Hyperx Fury ddr3 8gb 1600mhz ram xfx r9 380 4gb corsair cx550m 550w psu (semi modular) Corsair force series le 240gb Corsair hydro h60 cpu cooler My first question is, will the r9 380 card work with the motherboard or does the motherboard need to have a 6-pin power connector? My second question is, will the psu have enough watt to power the system? Third question, will these parts function well together? If not, what should i replace and with what? Thanks in advance Elias Alm
  4. Thanks man! Fortunately the website from where i buy my components had a sale on that one aswell! i just added it to my cart! Thanks again for the super quick help and support! Much appreciated!
  5. im using the i7 4770k. It's not overclocked, but I am thinking about doing it!
  6. Hey guys! I am upgrading my gaming rig for the upcoming games this year and i'd really appreciate some help with what powersupply i should go with! As you might have figured out from the Topic title i am going with two r9 290 cards in a crossfire setup! So my question is what powersupply should i buy? I was thinking of buying the "Corsair CX850M 850W" because its on a sale and i can get it really cheap. But is it strong enough to power two r9 290's? Or do i need something juicier? Thanks in advance Kind Regards EliaZPC
