  1. I was planning to build this pc (I already have the peripherals, the monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, microphone and the case) http://pcpartpicker.com/p/w22brH could someone tell me if this is worth it ? I mean what could i play with it, it's mean't for gaming. Additional info, I live in Chile use CLP as monetary unit and that build it's on the limit of my budget (around 450000 CLP)
  2. Did pc part picker list, sorry for my bad english (didn't realise it would be that bothering, dan8cat, no need to be rude)
  3. Processor AMD FX-6300 Sistemax $ 78.760 Motherboard MSI 970A-G43 Sistemax $ 49.660 RAM Kingston HyperX Fury HX316C10FB/4 Infor-Ingen $ 31.900 RAM Kingston HyperX Fury HX316C10FB/4 Infor-Ingen $ 31.900 Video Card MSI R9 270X (R9 270X GAMING 2G) Peta $ 173.930 Hard Drive / SSD Western Digital Blue 1000 GB (WD10EZEX) Sistemax $ 42.670 Power Supply Thermaltake SMART SP-650P (650 W) Infor-Ingen $ 56.900 Total $ 465.720 After the parts theres names like Sistemax, Infor-Ingen and Peta, those are the stores, some of them have no physical store (not that it matters dough) The price are in CLP (Chilean Pesos) About the ram it's 2x4, I mean this build has 8 gb of ram I have all the needed peripherals (Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Headset, Microphone, etc) I already have two cases Link to all the parts (from were i'm buying it): http://www.solohardware.net/products/7767-amd-fx-6300/ http://www.solohardware.net/products/9161-msi-970a-g43/ http://www.solohardware.net/products/15621-kingston-hyperx-fury-hx316c10fb4-1-x-4-gb-dimm-ddr3-1600/ x 2 http://www.solohardware.net/products/12208-msi-r9-270x-r9-270x-gaming-2g/ http://www.solohardware.net/products/6476-western-digital-blue-1000-gb-wd10ezex/ http://www.solohardware.net/products/11098-thermaltake-smart-sp-650p-650-w/ Purpose of this build: GAMING GAMING GAMING Pc partpicker http://pcpartpicker.com/p/w22brH
  4. The problem it's I found this laptop at 390000 CLP equivalent to 623.153 USD what up to the moment it's pretty much my budget (also it's used, even this laptot would cost much more if it was new, and something like the MSI GE60 2PC Apache costs 1,438.04 USD
  5. I live in Chile, I use CLP as monetary unit, the price of the dollars for me it's currently rising nonstop, it actually has risen in one fifth of it's "old" cost, I mean if I neededed 500 pesos to get 1 dolar, now I need 620 pesos (ignoring the fact that anything you buy here about pc hardware computers laptops and stuff can even double it's price) . The thing it's that i'm planning on buying this laptop (couldn't find it on the internet derp of me), these are the specs: It's suposed to be a Msi GE60 Hard Drive 750gb + 128gb ssd Cpu: i5-4200m 3.2Ghz Ram: 8gb Gpu: Nvidea Geforce GT 750M / 2GBGDDR5 I would like to know up to what game I would be able to play on it
  6. So in my previous post I discovered that my actual pc isn't worth a cent so I will start a campaign (with campaign I mean start saving) to get a new one, if someone could manage to create a build with the parts on this website https://www.pcfactory.cl/ or using the PCBuilder of the https://www.pcfactory.cl/armatupc (i recomend this since the website is in spanish) RECOMENDATIONS, use the automatic google translator so you can view the site in english About the pcbuilder, were it says pick you'r store pick the one it's called La Serena If u dont use the builder and pick parts regarding were they are available, I think I can make magic to get the parts. BUDGET 500.000 CLP more or less (CLP currency used in the website) I'm looking for a modest gaming pc.
  7. CPU: TripleCore AMD Athlon II X3 455, 3315 MHz Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2P v3.0 Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 (2 GB) Memory/Ram : 2x2 Generic Kingston (DDR3- 1333) Cpu Cooler: None Case: Don't know the name Power Supply: Don't know the name Storage: 1Tb (don't know specific storage name) SSD: none (i think ._.) "Update" I was actually thinking in buying 2x4 or 1x8, I dont want to play games like Battlefield 4 at full graphics, I want to get more FPS in the games I already play like CS:GO LoL Dota 2 Insurgency, I'm looking to play Planetside 2 at minimum (what I mean with better FPS it's that many games i can play them smoothly but at low settings) About budget I can spend about 180usd for upgrading and if I want a new pc this is not the time of the year to ask for it (Maybe I could push the budget a little little bit) The problem it's that for example THIS RAM STICK http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-HyperX-FURY-1866MHz-DDR3/dp/B00J8E8YNE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420701634&sr=8-1&keywords=Kingston%C2%AE+DDR3+4+GB+1866MHz+PC3-14900+HyperX+Fury+Red costs around 80 dollars for me OK, so from what i've read even i find my pc would be fine with upgrading to 2x4 from what you commented i think i'll start begging for a new pc even dough i was pretty shure i could get new ram and be happy .
