Not going to upgrade my main as I bought a 2080ti a few months ago, but planning on upgrading my server here shortly. Been buying 10tb drives when bestbuy has them on sale (wanting to get a total of 10 drives, currently have 3). Other than that I just want to get a new sound bar for the livingroom TV and I should be good this year.

Well, got myself a new fun car to drive, its a 06 Nissan 350z Grand Touring with 37k miles. This is my first manual car and its fun as hell. Going to start doing autocross next year so going to build the car over the winter. Trying to put together a parts list now so i can start ordering parts.

Picking up a matching number 1938 Mosin Nagant Saturday. Not the hex bolt one sadly, but the price is under 300$ and it comes with all manner of original goodies.

I'd love to see the NFA disappear, but after our failure of even getting the HPA to a vote leaves me without much hope.

It's been almost half a year since I've visited this thread. Got two new toys since then.
 
One's my new Eddystone M1917 Enfield next to my first taste of properly good milsurp, a 1943 ROF Maltby No. 4 Mk I. I got the beauty back in April at a gun show where I got a hundred dollars off without real haggling. Literally asked 'Will you be willing to go lower" and he asked me to name a price that I thought was reasonable so I did. Both of us were happy with the price and he just so happened to be a firefighter and me an EMT so that kind of helped.
 
The other funsy's just a PSA pistol I built with an SB Tactical PDW brace and a meme of a FCG. Used Franklin Armory's BFS III in it and it's an absolute joy to mag dump with. Probably going to put a Geissele SSA once my new SSA-E arrives and I get it into my 16 incher with the ACOG.
 
Planning on selling my Glock 17 Gen 4 to a buddy of mine and using that money to work on a Glock 19 Roland Special using a Polymer 80 V2 Compact frame.
 

Well, got my build done after 8 months. Still would like to change a few things on it but that can wait till later. The build is a 7.62x39 since I love that round and ammo is cheap. I can run what ever ammo I want and it just runs, no issues so far.

That'd be the SCAR-L. The most disappointing 5.56 to date.

I have 4 suppressors, two in 30cal, two in .223 cal, all magnum rated. I don't even bother to wear ear pro anymore, and nether does anyone at the range (including the dog). I didn't buy them for the cool factor, i bought them because i can shoot whenever, wherever and not worry about "enhancing" my already bad tinnitus.

DO IT!! I've shot USPSA for the last 3-4 years, started in production and now shoot Carry Optics.
 
If it was me, I'd do the 1911 for Single Stack division. 
 
The M11-A1 will put you in Production against striker fired guns, so you'll learn real quick how to deal with that DA/SA transition. That said there are a couple of CZ guys who shoot DA/SA Limited in my club and they do just fine. 
 
I wouldn't worry about Minor vs Major if you're just starting out. Shoot what you're most comfortable with and learn. There's a fairly steep learning curve, but the people are always happy to help and give tips. I havent met a single jackass in USPSA in my time. 
 
Be prepared to spend money. Lots of it. Seriously. It's incredibly addictive.

Just sold a rifle worth 300 brand new for 500 bucks, Am i a bad person?

Heyy guys, over the weekend I picked up two new firearms, one is a 1941 Luger P08 manufactured by Mauser. Second is a CZ75 SP-01 Phantom. Also, almost ended up getting a Mauser C96 as well but I thought it said $700 and didnt have enough cash with me but my buddy never said anything and it was actually $450. Kicking my self in the ass for not picking that one up now but maybe, just maybe I can find another one for that price.
