I need a new graphics card for as close to 250 as possible after rebates. I was looking at these cards which one should i go for? I have a Mxl 770 and a Cad GXl2200 xlr microphones. I use a blue icicle. It sucks if you have read my first post I have been having a lot of trouble with it. When I use it with my mac it works great. But for some reason the Icicle mutes my mic anywhere from 5 seconds - 30 minutes. I have tried everything. I may need to get an audio interface. I have been looking at the Focusrite Scarlett Solo Compact USB Audio Interface but i was wondering if there is anything cheaper that has phantom power. I do lots of voice overs so.... NEED HELP

I have a pair of the ATH M50x's and I love and hate them. First off when I press on the outer ear cups there is a really annoying clicking sound. They also hurt my ears and for me there not comfortable. I like the sound quality since I do a lot of audio and video editing. I'm just not satisfied with them. I live in a noisy environment so I don't really like open headphones but since I do game a little I could give them a try. I listen to top 40 music. Any other suggestions with a removable cable and clear sound. Also I have a DAC but I really don't want to have to get an amp.

My microphone automatically mutes it self after anywhere from 5 seconds to 10 minutes. I have a Mxl 770 xlr connected to a blue icicle plugged into a rear USB on my asus m5a99fx pro r2 on windows 7. I have tried using a different microphone (cad gxl2200) and a differ USB port, both front and back. Tried uninstalling and re installing the blue icicle drivers. Also disabling "high definition audio" in device manager. Tried uninstalling realtek hd audio. I have no idea what else to try, any ideas are welcomed no matter how unlikely they are.
