As my family is soon going to buy a new TV and our current receiver died, we were thinking about upgrading our home theatre system. The problem that we're currently having is that we always have to turn on the receiver separately and change volume from a separate remote. That is very inconvenient so we use the TV's speakers instead. 1. What should we buy for replacement? Our current 16 y.o. yamaha rx-496RDS died. The new one should also work with cdx-496 cd player and our two current ns-300 speakers. 2. How can we make the TV and receiver work together? Nobody currently uses the theatre system because of its inconvenience. Is there a way to make it turn on with the TV and control the volume from the TV. Thank you!

I have a nexus 5 and I recently bought a kingston microUSB/standardUSB stick. It shows up and I'm able to browse it with the built in app and ES file explorer. These apps have a crappy music player so i want to use an alternative. I downloaded many different music players (poweramp, jetaudio, rocket player, shuttle, playerpro) but none of them show the usb stick (only /storage/emulated). What am I doing wrong? My friend has a moto g and uses shuttle (he has the exact same usb stick) to listen to his music.

Hi! I got a bit lost while trying to build a computer for my dad. The system will be used for 1080p and 4K light-mid editing. The budget is 1000-1600 €. 1. What kind of a CPU should I use? I was thinking about i7-4790K, but he insist on 6-core (preferably 5820K). How big is the difference and will he ever need the extra performance? The price is also important. With the 6-core, mobo and ram costs more. Which CPU has a better price vs. performance? 2. Which mobo should I use? I don't know much about mobos, so I don't know what to pick. He will not overclock the CPU. 3. Nvidia or AMD? In Estonia 290X starts at 400€ and 980 starts at 630€. I know that Nvidia performs better and has cuda, but AMD costs less.
