  1. Holla get Dolla 4790K GTX 980 16GB 8.5 score
  2. We actually have one these smart remotes somewhere. I should look into it. Thanks for your reply!
  3. As my family is soon going to buy a new TV and our current receiver died, we were thinking about upgrading our home theatre system. The problem that we're currently having is that we always have to turn on the receiver separately and change volume from a separate remote. That is very inconvenient so we use the TV's speakers instead. 1. What should we buy for replacement? Our current 16 y.o. yamaha rx-496RDS died. The new one should also work with cdx-496 cd player and our two current ns-300 speakers. 2. How can we make the TV and receiver work together? Nobody currently uses the theatre system because of its inconvenience. Is there a way to make it turn on with the TV and control the volume from the TV. Thank you!
  4. Then it looses its point. Nexus 5 doesn't a sd slot and the internal memory is only 12gb
  5. Empire Earth 1 is one of the best lesser known games out there. I like it because it's not that fast, it has 15 ages and so many different units. Fun for many hours!
  6. I have a nexus 5 and I recently bought a kingston microUSB/standardUSB stick. It shows up and I'm able to browse it with the built in app and ES file explorer. These apps have a crappy music player so i want to use an alternative. I downloaded many different music players (poweramp, jetaudio, rocket player, shuttle, playerpro) but none of them show the usb stick (only /storage/emulated). What am I doing wrong? My friend has a moto g and uses shuttle (he has the exact same usb stick) to listen to his music.
  7. Ok. The system will be used for light-mid video editing. Should I go for something like K1200 or not?
  8. Hi! I got a bit lost while trying to build a computer for my dad. The system will be used for 1080p and 4K light-mid editing. The budget is 1000-1600 €. 1. What kind of a CPU should I use? I was thinking about i7-4790K, but he insist on 6-core (preferably 5820K). How big is the difference and will he ever need the extra performance? The price is also important. With the 6-core, mobo and ram costs more. Which CPU has a better price vs. performance? 2. Which mobo should I use? I don't know much about mobos, so I don't know what to pick. He will not overclock the CPU. 3. Nvidia or AMD? In Estonia 290X starts at 400€ and 980 starts at 630€. I know that Nvidia performs better and has cuda, but AMD costs less. Which one is better for editing at price vs perfomance? 4. Other parts. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Dn7Txr I picked: 2x8gb of ram 850 Pro Series 256gb SSD 3TB WD Black HDD SPEC-01 case CX750M PSU. 16GB of RAM should be enough (maybe another 16 in the future). 850 Pro is a good SSD. 3TB should be enough. 750W is plenty. !! He doesn't care abot the case, it can be cheap !!
  9. I think it was DDR2. In Linus' build it was WD Green, he changed it. Should he get the green?
  10. My friend wants to build a new rig but is there a point? Is the performance difference big enough? His old specs are: Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93Ghz 3Gb of RAM No SSD GT 640 2Gb Gigabyte MOBO He wants to build the Ultimate Value Gaming Build made by Linus: Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Dual-Core Processor Asus Z97-C ATX LGA1150 Motherboard G.Skill Value Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1333 Memory Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Sapphire Radeon R7 260X 2GB Video Card Corsair Builder 430W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
