  1. Was disapointing. No real Information was shared. What they did we already knew. The ony thing they made certain is that it will use GDDR6, but not the Amount. What we do not know: how many Cores (Sony already talked about that)? Navi, they can't talk about (yet), I give them that... SSD?? What kind? Sony already talked about that and that it will be better than "anything we have at the time we said it", wich means possibly PCIe4 NVMe. Variable Refresh Rate -> was obvious as that is already supported by the One X. Then they threw some numbers around (120Hz/fps, 8K, 4x as good as XBox One). The only interesting thing they mentioned is: Launch with Halo Infinite. But then the question is: Is there any reason to buy it, if you have a decent PC??? Will there be exclusives?? Can I install Steam on it?
  2. That sounds like the HDD is craping out on you. Might want to replace that and make a Backup of what you have.
  3. It wasn't. They said 120fps, not 4K... There wasn't really much Information about it at all, on the Contrary. All they sad was "GDDR6", Navi and Zen2. Nothing was really specified. And then they threw the "100 times better than last gen" shit around... I'd rather wait and see... Specs might look awesome now but remember, its more than a year until Launch!
  4. What you can Try is download DDU, pack it somewhere. Then Reboot (while holding shift), go to Safe Mode, and then use DDU. Remove AMD Drivers w/o Reboot, Remove nVidia drivers w/o Reboot, remove Intel Drivers w/o Reboot. Reboot Install GPU and AMD Chipset Drivers with files from the Website, not the CD Garbage.
  5. Yeah, that PSU is crap. And there is your problem. You make impulsive purchases without looking if the stuff you're getting is good and then wonder why it doesn't run too well... The best thing you should have done was hold on to the Haswel until you could afford something good... It might not even be the same, it might be two different Problems... One is the Memory, possibly even Single Channel (did you put the Memory right next to each other??), one might be CPU Throtteling because of shitty VRM without Cooling... Yes, deal with it and save some money. You only make it worse each time you do something! Then replace the PSU and Motherboard with something that has good VRM and supports Ryzen 3000, flash the BIOS, upgrade to a Ryzen 3600 or 3600X, after you replaced your Board, because its not supported by A320 Boards. See, that is the Problem. You mess up the AMD Build and instead of fixing it (wich wouldn't be that expensive), you switch over to the other side, instead of fixing what you have... And you make it worse every time. Your Graphics Card is fine. Your board and PSU suck. But you have a decent System, so deal with it, save some money for decent component and stop getting buttom of the barrel stuff...
  6. urgh... What "650W Thermaltake"?? This one? https://geizhals.de/thermaltake-smart-bx1-rgb-650w-atx-2-4-ps-spr-0650nhsabe-1-a1860393.html?hloc=at&hloc=de Why are you saving so much on the wrong places?! For example there... It would have been nice if you'd asked before, because that would have helped preventing the issues you had... The Issue with the Old System was the Crap Memory, the new one has a garbage Motherboard that doesn't even have VRM Cooling. The Memory of the new system is the minimum you should have... To be blunt: You're wasting money because you cheap out on components and get unbalanced systems with some crap components! With the System you have right now, the Memory isn't great but bearabla, the Board might cause some issues such as throtteling, depending on the Heastink used... It might be possible that you just inserted the Memory in the wrong slots with the last AMD System, but also used too slow Memory as well...
  7. What's the Rest of the System?? In theory it is possible, but unlikely. I'd say 1 of 100 Cases but the other 99 Cases are other Components. And also waht PSU?? Maker, model, estimated Age? I disagree. But its rather improbable. Other things are more likely to cause it.
  8. Yeah, put Japanese Caps in an L&C PSU, it will magically become awsome... ... N O T ... The other stuff has to be in order before you put "good caps" inside -> good, independant, voltage regulation, all protections implemented and working... I really don't get why people believe that "100% Japanese Caps" = awesome PSU...
  9. They don't. There is no reason for it as the Memory Controller is inside the I/O Die. There is the possibility of a small buffer for asyncrhouneous transfers between that. And even if, they use higher frequency IF anyway.
  10. ?? That's weird. For ASUS you have to send it to the Dealer for them to send it to ASUS.... But well, if the CPU is dead, a reason to look into Ryzen 3000, wich are only 200€ for a 6 Core (325€ for an 8 Core), more Infos later tomorrow...
  11. No, you can't live for another 4 years as there are alreadygames on the Market that run badly on 4 COres and have issues with stuttering/min fps. 8 Cores Desktop CPUs are available since February 2017, so a little more than two years. And we already see increased core demands! Even though there was nothing for Desktop Sockets before that with more than 4 Cores (and no, 1366 is NOT a Desktop Socket -> low end SERVER!) THAT is the reason why it didn't increase becuase there were no games to use it. That changed because of Playstation 4/XBoner and So that is a very steep statement with all the facts we have right now. Kinda the same claim that people made when Dual Core and later Quad Cores were introduced. Well, that's 15 ~years ago but can't you look at the past and learn from it?! You heard about Consoles? Playstation 5 and Upcoming XBox??? You know that those are said to come with 8 Cores?? You are wrong because false assumption. The Core Demand already increased, @Ebony Falcon mentioned a good source that disproves your claim. Because we already have games/situations, where 4C/4T are absolutely not sufficient and even 4C/8T are struggling. DX12 reduced the CPU demand and also is better multithreaded. That also allowed the Game Developers to use the Power for new things such as Weather Simulation or other things... Yeah, exactly! The Additional Cores are adopted by the Software at an insane pace. In just 2 years we have applications that benefit or want more than 4 Cores. In another 2 years you can expect that they see that as minimum requirement...
  12. Why?! What leads you exactly to that? Why such a low cost Intel and such a crap Board?? What is the System for? What does it do? For Gaming: MSI B450I with Ryzen 1600. For Office: ASROCK A300, wich requires SO-DIMMs though. Either AThlon 200GE, 2200G, 2400G - whatever you feel like. In that case you might want to look at the Ryzen 1600 or 2600 instead, wich is about the same price. And here something interesting: And in all more interesting, modern Games, the Ryzen 5 is faster than the 7600. ANd its only the 1600, not even the X... And in some Games there is even some kind of stuttering or other Problems. Just look at Battlefield 5, where the i5-7600K gets min fps far under 60... Yes, it needs a BIOS Update. And there are other Options for the same Price. Getting a 50€ Board also isn't the best Idea either.
  13. Then go to Settings -> Power, look at the Power Profile or reset that.
  14. Condolences. So short before the release of something big is not the best thing to do... Try returning both for a Refund at Amazon, even if its a partial one, wait a month and get the best you can for a good price that You should have a couple of Months or more Warranty, so you should be able to at least get a replacement.
  15. why 2nd Thread?? Anyway: Yes, the EVGA BT is pretty low quality and should not be bought. Get the ones recommended by @WoodenMarker Those aren't too bad. MY recommendations probably ain't available (Bitfenix Formula, be quiet Pure Power 11, 400W or more or the System Power 9, also 400W).

I think I win. Not sure what I win or what I'm…

Yeah, I find it interesting from a Technology Point of view (and you don't find much Online)... Especially the 2nd Pic here: http://www.jonnyguru.com/blog/2007/06/28/antec-truepower-quattro-850w-power-supply/2/
  17. How about you start by providing us exact specification of the Components, the old ones, the new ones, what Board was used, Heatsinks, PSU?? And also what Memory was used, how it was installed. Because right now we can't help you because we don't have enough Information.

I think I win. Not sure what I win or what I'm…

I want that PSU! The multi Rail PCB is one of them...
  19. They are in Desktop/x86 Market... There is already Vega 20 wich supports it, though only the Professionals seem to have that Enabled, so first PCie 4.0 Consumer GPU will be Navi. There's also a ton of PCIe 4.0 SSDs announced and other stuff that might actually need it, @leadeater mentioned it, that it's server Networking for example... BTW: I don't get it... Intel/nVidia announces something -> shut up ant take my money... Do I have to remind you about the THG "Just Buy it" Article?? AMD does something and: ah, lets wait for Intel, what they do... Yeah, great. That sounds kinda like an excuse to not buy AMD... Nobody thought that AMD could do 10% IPC or that was what we speculated. What did they announce? 15%...
  20. Go visit a friend in Germany. Bitfenix Formula is a good one, be quiet Pure Power 11 (400W and more) is decent as well. Both are more closer to 50€ than 100€.
  21. oof. Those are ancient. The VX450W is more around the 15 Year Mark... Was released back in 2007 or so... The VS Orange is not as old, but still rather old and should not be used. Why not just get a good quality PSU and wait until you can afford a good one? Where do you live, what's available??
  22. Then you really need to replace the PSU. That sounds like a really really old, almost 15 year old PSU... The Card works with only one 6pin PCIe. But its not recommended with a 10 Year old PSU! You can kill your stuff with that
  23. That as well but also that they are actually in the same Building... Or that its a "side business" of Enhance. Unlimited possibilitys. As long as it makes money... Thus my theory that they might use the old Machinery that Enhance phased out but are still working.
  24. Yeah, not much. The quality looks kinda really bad. Makes you think if it was made by Enhance or not... Isn't it possible that Enhance had some old machinery and some space that they "lend out" for cheap for other people to use??
  25. Yes, because your PSU is total garbage. You can't "repair" it. That's like trying to make an Opel Kapitän comply with modern Regulations. You just can't. Just replace it with a somewhat good quality unit and don't bother with that piece of Pollution...
