Hi! Welcome to the forums. What is the purpose of your Buffalo router? Why do you want to connect it? Do you want more Ethernet ports, or do you want wifi access? (Or both?)

If all you need is more ports, then I recommend picking up a cheap Gigabit switch from your local computer store (I like the TP-Link ones personally, but just about anything will do). This will give you more ports, and should pass through the "Acceptance Page" with no issues.

If you need Wifi as well, then you may have to try and configure your router into "Wireless AP Mode" if it has one.

You should buy a fan or something then, for yourself, not for the computer...

If you do all the correct stock investments before and after the assassination missions then you can easily finish the game with over 3 Billion (3 000 000 000) dollars between all the 3 characters and it also used to be possible to obtain properties for free that generate furhter income.
(I'm assuming that you were asking if a person could actually get that much by playing the game, and not talking about the actual software limitations or anything technical)

And as far as the video is concerned, I think Linus wanted the main point to be that people shouldn't decide between phones based on just the fact that one is 64 bit and the other is 32. Despite the mistakes that stand out to people like us on this forum as we are tech enthusiasts, I think the video still achieves what Linus and his team desired from it in terms of clearing things up for the average consumer.
Fast As Possibles aren't really aimed at people like the OP of this thread, while what you said is true and I appreciate the effort in you pointing it out, sometimes you have to consider that for the average person too much detail isn't always helpful, the same way that things you learn during chemistry lessons in high school aren't always necessarily 'true' but they allow everyone to have some basic understanding of what is going on.

At least if one in the array fails, I can still use the other drive for a while. Whereas if I only had one drive and that died, I'd have to put my OS on a mechanical hard drive, and ever since I got my first SSD I decided that I will never do that.
And yes a larger one is usually better value but the smaller ones go on sale sometimes.

Why is RAID 0 even considered a type of RAID? Seeing as its less redundant than individual drives?

If you do RAID 0 you loose all of your data if one drive fails. It basically splits files so if you copy a picture half of it goes on one and the other half on the other. Thats how I understand it anyways

Even if we forget about the GPU being warmed by the hot air or even anything PC specific and just think about basic physics, you are pushing hot air downwards. Hot air naturally wants to rise, so you're just fighting against the natural convection currents in your case making the job of all the heat sinks more difficult. There is a reason why most cases have intakes at the bottom and exhausts at the top.

You were probably expecting them to blow like mad, and be absolutely silent? Sorry if i'm wrong but I don't think you have much experience with high end fans if you are recommending corsair fans above noctuas and on the same level as be Quiet.

You don't have to get a wrist rest that physically attaches to your keyboard, there are a lot of nice ones that just have a non-slip bottom and sit in front of the keyboard, if you get a good quality on that you like, you'll probably be able to use it with any keyboard you get for the rest of your life. Like ExconHD said, ducky do make some good ones that are real leather, its a good choice because you get the rigidity and support of a plastic one without the cheap feeling of plastic.

Yes, it will work fine. From an OS' perspective, it's just a normal drive. No RAID at all. That's what RAID 1 is. Nothing more than a mirror, meaning that it isn't dependent upon any other drive to access the data on a specific drive. i.e. you can take it out of the RAID and plug it into another computer and it "just work".

Tomiking got a reaction from Vitalius in RAID 1 Question
Lets say I have 2 drives in a RAID 1 array, and one of the drives and the raid controller dies. Would I be able to recover all of my data from the raid array by taking the drive that is still working from that computer and simply connecting it to a different computer and accessing it in an operating system environment?

The reason I'm unsure about this is because I know that with more complex levels of RAID, the raid controller dying means the data wont be accessible by just plugging all those drives into a different PC, however due to the nature of RAID 1 (it being just a mirror) I don't see how this would be an issue.

    Thanks
