  1. Well I'm currently doubting between 2 monitors of exactly the same price, however one is glossy (Dell) and the other is matte (AOC). That's kinda why I made this topic.
  2. Which one is technically best? I'm talking about IPS displays and there won't be any sunlight behind me or anything, so I'm guessing the glossy one would be the nicest? What do you think/prefer?
  3. Ohh like that, I get it now. Well I'm not planning on spending €30 just for that, I would like to buy a fan splitter (since I only have 1 header). Would something like this work? https://azerty.nl/0-1549-457268/bitfenix-3-pins-naar-3-x-3-pins-adapter-60-cm-rood.html It's in dutch, but you get the idea. Would I have any problems connecting 3 fans to 1 header? Also, the sound should be much less now, right?
  4. Welp that's a lot of money just to control the fans. Why would plugging them straight into my PSU be a bad idea? Those fans are only like 8 dB when they're on their max.
  5. This might sound really stupid, but doens't a fan hub use a molex connector which you have to plug into your PSU? Isn't that the same principle?
  6. I'm planning on plugging them straight into my PSU, they still won't be too loud?
  7. So I'm currently doubting between these 2 fans for intake. The Noctua is considerably quieter than the Shadow Wings. (8.6 dB vs 17.9 dB) Which one would you recommend? Are the Noctua fans worth the premium price? Thanks in advance
  8. Yeah the thing is that I'm not sure where the difference is between a €140 IPS monitor and a €200 IPS monitor other than stand/build quality.
  9. So I'll be buying a 24" monitor for my dorm room next year, however I can't decide between 2. Here's the first: https://www.amazon.co.uk/AOC-I2481FXH-24-Inch-LED-Monitor/dp/B015510P76 Here's the second: https://www.amazon.co.uk/iiyama-ProLite-XUB2490HS-B1-Black-display/dp/B017L9ZEDK The stand on the last one looks kinda cheapisch, but for the rest they're both IPS, 1080p and have very small bezels. Which one would you recommend?
  10. Alright thanks for the help guys, I'll probably buy a decent 24" monitor instead.
  11. Does this stand look better? http://www.amazon.com/AOC-i2769Vm-27-Inch-Frameless-LED-Lit/dp/B00CLZ04VW So a 27" 1080p monitor should be fine?
  12. What do you mean 'I get nothing' ?
  13. Both the 24" and 27" are IPS.
  14. Good afternoon, I'm thinking about getting a monitor with a budget of max €200. The thing is, that in that price range, I can either get a 24" 1080p IPS display or a 27" 1080p IPS display. They're pretty much the exact same in price. I'm wondering however if a 27" 1080p monitor is worth it. I will be sitting at a fairly normal distance from the monitor, so how will this impact quality? Here's 2 monitors I have in mind: http://www.amazon.com/myPlay-I2757FM-LED-Monitor-68-6cm-27/dp/B008L5OGKQ https://www.amazon.co.uk/LG-27MP47HQ-Monitor-1920x1080-HDMI/dp/B013E8LH74 So is it worth getting a 27" 1080p monitor since the price difference with a 24" is minimal?
