  1. You got scammed, sorry.
  2. Skylake is made for overclocking, yet, you pay the premium for it. In a budget build, I would stick with Devil's Canyon (Like the 4690K). Especially since those bucks are better spend on a reliable power supply, or a better graphics card. Remember that people are still happily using their 2nd generation Intel's to this date.
  3. If you mentioned that before, I would have thought of you as a genius instead of a psycho O_o Yeah, in this case, give it a shot!
  4. Even IF you break the laptop open and it still works after you reach the chip, EVEN IF you manage to install the AIO cooler on a place where there's obviously no fittings for AIO coolers, and even IF you find a way to overclock the mobile chip, since that is almost surely impossible, why would you want to? You'll lose any ability for your laptop to move, and you'll barely gain performance, even if. Not to mention the PSU and other components that might actually fail.
  5. Their cooling depends on the laptop they are used in. Theoretically, they produce less heat because they also have less Watts to work with then regular GPU's (which is also again, one of the reasons they perform worse). And obviously, because of the size, power and cooling limitations, they are underpowered when put against desktop counterparts. If I am not mistaken, and correct me if I am, then that is a HORRIBLE idea. They're designed for specific Wattages and specific places. One does not simply overclock his laptop.
  6. Poor marketing (let's say a prayer for all the people sued by Nintendo for making lets plays) Touchpad made it hard for 3th party game devs The above caused no big titles aside from Nintendo themselves High price for a family console Etcetera
  7. If the background is 1 colour only, you can use select --> colour range and then fiddle around there, and eventually it should select the background. If not, use the pen- or- lassotool.

I had 1100 notifications before the forum updat…

    You got banned?
  9. Noctua is the generally the most silent and best airflow company, however, if the colour scheme makes your eyes bleed, Be Quiet! does a good job too.
  10. I like the update.

Besides that it broke my CPU guide.

    Fuck.

  11. Hello, and thanks for reading this already! I'm looking for some budget earbuds (maximum around 20 euros/dollars). A play/pause button on the cable would be a plus, I will be using it on Android and I don't want IEM's, not that kind of person. That is it, so if you've got any suggestion, I'm glad to hear them! Thanks in advance!
  12. Running a second generation mobile i5, which is actually dual core. I can confirm, CS:GO runs really well, a quad core of the same generation would feel overkill for me
  13. Hello, and thanks for reading this already! I'm looking for a new phone to replace my current, and it comes down between the OnePlus One and Nexus 5. Most important: battery life, Kali Nethunter support, proper screen, 4G support. If there's better alternatives, let me know! (I would however still prefer Kali Nethunter supported devices) Thanks in advance!
  14. So what you are saying is, that it is always worth it in any scenario, and you know that because you currently have no experience with i7's? With all respect, the bullshit train is here and it's waiting for your post to get the f*ck on
  15. Are you video editing? Rendering? Intense multitasking? (We aren't talking about Skype and a game open, but actual having multiple heavy programs like Premiere and Sony Vegas while rendering etcetera) If yes, i7, definitely. If not, stay with i5. Will do more than fine for gaming Also, inb4 the people coming in here and saying that "i7 performs better than i5 sometimes" Yes, there is an increase of games that benefit from the extra 4 threads from the i7. However, the few FPS difference that you can barely notice, for a GIGANTIC premium over the i5, is not worth it.
  16. Compete? Yes. Surpass? Maybe. Will Intel screw AMD's ass as soon as AMD flinches? Yes.
  17. Older films that run on lower resolutions and have bad quality, maybe could have been on CD. Slight chance. Guardians Of The Galaxy, a modern sci-fi movie, in a 700MB disk? Hell naw.
  18. @Darts401 don't mind all the people saying that furries are weird, since 30% of them spends all day fantasizing about anime people, 20 % dedicated way too much free time in learning computer stuff, and 50% of the people just post memes on a fukking techforum. (While I belong to all of the previous categories, I find that they have no right to judge) I myself am, I guess a casual furry. I enjoy the art, love the idea of furrsona's (yet have no idea how to make one myself) and do not own a furry suit because I think my country may be extinct of furries and I don't have a furrsona to begin with
  19. "I only have 200 FPS which doesn't feel smooth on a monitor that can only display 144FPS" That doesn't make sense lol
  20. I listened to some rap if that helps, and that sounded pretty fukken sweet for the record When it comes to gaming, I've tried multiple. In CS:GO, I could hear the footsteps pretty well but not amazingly (but that can be my bad focusing skills) I've also tried Insurgency, and it sounded pretty fukken sweet. Leakage is surprisingly well for an open back headphone. It also largely depends on your background noise. If your background noise is normal, and you listen to normal listening levels, you'll barely hear leakage. However, if you go blasting with low background noise, expect leakage.
  21. There's enough drug abuse already In my opinion, drugs, alcohol and smoking should all be banned at the same time.
  22. As a personal user of the 558's, I can tell you my experience. I've owned the Razer Carchairas, Philips Phidelio L2 and now the 558's. The 558's have amazing quality and clearity. They're comfortable, proper over ear (however, with really big ears you might hit a piece of plastic that's in there for idfk), have a removable cable, and are size adjustable. What's not to love. I would recommend it any day to almost anyone. However. If you are a big basshead, a big fan of bassy electronic music and that kind of stuff, STAY AWAY from the 558's. Don't get me wrong, I love my portion of nice bass and of course the 558's, but I can live without the bass being bigger the mids and highs. The bass on this thing is really good, but not for anything that's bass focused. (Fyi: I listen to Rock, Metal and some electronic like Krewella and Blue Stahli.)
  23. oh god why did you remind me of this bullshit O_O Cries in a corner
