  1. It's just so awesome and sleek and battery and performance and <3 <3 <3
  2. My favourite thing is the supersexy slim bezels. Thats the only way such a large screen would work for me
  3. I think the BoomSound speakers are awesome and probably the best thing about the M8. Also, why does no one pronounce the M8 like mate?
  4. Tweakers.net by any chance? EDIT: Apperently, yes. Hallo landgenoot :)
  5. Looks like I'm getting the Spectre Pro's, those things look awesome! And thanks for the heads up on cheap fans.
  6. My current case fans are a little too loud for my liking. Can anyone recommend any fans? I'm searching for a silent 120mm fan with blue LED lighting, and it won't hurt if it cools well off course.
  7. You're wrong: the 7850 is 860Mhz at stock. So you're getting an adittional 90Mhz. Still not a huge increase though... Did you try AMD Overdrive?
  8. That was incredibly simple. Thanks a lot!
  9. Yeah, Nvidia is pretty good with marketing/branding. Although AMD is doing pretty well with the Never Settle bundles, they don't brag so much about performance as much. Also a question: if almost all the 7000 series cards overclock so well as they do, why doesn't AMD clock them higher out of the box?
  10. Wow, thanks. Makes me feel even more satisfied with my purchase :) So yeah, with the exception of the need of CUDA cores, the red camp seems to win here... again. I'm eager to see what Nvidia is going to try to do about it.
  11. I had the same problem for a while. Sounds like you have the power button set to sleep. Try looking in Control panel>Hardware>Device manager and check with your mouse, keyboard, ethernet/wireless adapter or anything if they're enabled to something along the lines of 'this device may wake up the computer from standby'. Also, check in Control panel>Hardware>Change behaviour of on/off buttons if it is actually set to shutting of your PC.
  12. Although you may be right, Nvidia released the 660 ti a couple of months after the 680. So while the 780 might be released soon, I'm not so sure if it's a great idea to wait. I'd vote for the 7950, unless you need CUDA.
  13. Like Killerx said, the 7850 overclocks VERY well. I'm not even overvolting, stock clockspeed is 860Mhz, but I can get to 1100Mhz with certain tools like Sapphire Trixx. But yes, without overclocking the 650 Ti boost is faster in most cases (I believe 7850 is faster in FC3 though). Another thing, and I don't how much it will help, but the PS4 has an AMD gpu so in the future, games will probably be a bit more optimized for AMD cards.
  14. My first name is Bart, so 'rain' goes in between. And the idea is everything we do, decide or make comes from our brain.
