You can just return it and they will test it to make sure it is faulty. If they do their tests and it is not faulty they will just sent it back to you. Or you can try and return it to the place you bought it from and get a refund... but if its been opened im not sure how they will do this.

Not a bad speed at all to be honest considering you live that far away. Ping is much better too!

Take your graphics card out and use the onboard graphics, do you get the error then or does it boot?

Are you sure you have downloaded the correct drivers? Do a warranty search on the hp website and put the serial number of the laptop in. This will give you the correct product number for that laptop, you can find the downloads from there.

Uninstall it completely then reboot your PC. Then reinstall it.

Could just be a faulty mobo dead on arrival, its happened to me a few times. The CPU socket probably has a fault. Unless you have another CPU to pop in it and test?

Hey All, Looking for an android based tablet for a family member for Christmas and i really dont know much about tablets at all. So before i pop on Amazon and buy something that "looks good enough" i just thought i would see if anyone here had some recommendations? The bigger the screen the better but i know this will be hard to do for the budget. Thanks
