  1. Steam, origin and the Humble Bundle/store
  2. Around 60 according to type racer, but possibly faster due to the fact I generally correct words after I type them.
  3. That is pathetic. Less pathetic then Australian internet, but still that's pathetic. Have you considered trying a VPN?
  4. Right. I've been looking into the 660 to upgrade my current GT 640 GPU.
  5. Replacing the PSU is probably your best idea, especially if the PSU is lower end/quality. It may not be a bad idea to do some tests like memory tests, but it's most likely the PSU. As for AMD and Nvidia, it'll work perfectly.
  6. I'm thinking they should name it Microsoft Steel.
  7. If an ad's integrated well enough, yes. It's happened to me, my sister and my mum, and they aren't exactly horrible at using a computer.
  8. I built my sister a rig with the 750 Ti, it gets about 50ish FPS on average in skyrim stock with high settings. And Minecraft runs brilliantly.
  9. I have applied for a job. Soon I'll have money to buy the things to make my PC brilliant.

  10. Right. You may still be able to get the mixer outputting to your camera should you need it.
  11. Ubuntu is another distro of linux. It has a different UI. WUBI stands for the Windows UBuntu Installer, and lets you install the OS from inside windows rather easily.
  12. Have you installed the drivers for the Nvidia card?
  13. If you're just starting out, Ubuntu is probably your best bet. There's even an option called WUBI to install it through windows, allowing you to uninstall it through windows at any time. EDIT: I looked into it, WUBI is difficult to find. The official guide recommends you to get it from here. The guide for it can be found here and probably isn't too bad of a read.
  14. Ok, the note is the other phone I'm look into, but I'm not a fan of touchwiz.
  15. As a mixer the H4N is probably more then a bit of overkill. you'd most likely be better off going with a standard mixer or maybe an XLR interface like the Blue Icicle if you don't need the control over everything.
  16. Looks interesting, though I don't see myself having much of a use for a test bench at the moment. That said, I honestly like Luke hosting more then Linus. Not that Linus is a bad host or anything though.
  17. It's interesting, but I'm not a big fan of most of razer's stuff. Also, I'd only really use it to set it to dark blue, which my current Ducky does for like $30 or so less.
  18. As long as you have a nice fan you're probably best off going with the twin frozr. Blower/reference is probably only best if you're doing something like an ITX machine where it's right next to a side panel.
  19. Go with C. The i7 is complete overkill on a gaming machine. Also, the ROG motherboard is probably also pretty overkill.
  20. That is pretty bad. Especially given that there is a command prompt access in that menu. But then again, OS X lets you reset the password from the restore screen. And you can reset the password on windows with Linux.
  21. MetropolisMania 2 on the PS2. It sucks so much in comparison to Sim City 4, but yet it's so quirky that I love it any way.
  22. A home server. I'd be the only one in my house who'd use it.
  23. I can't. Everything stored locally is wiped when the machine turns off, so it's all put on the 'student share'.
  24. Because 2.5 fits in everything and they don't have to for performance or anything I guess.
