  1. If I were to make something of an educated guess, the A would probably be the models with higher colour accuracy/"Premiere Color" models.
  2. I'm not personally a huge fan of makeup, but that looks like something somewhat useful for video production.
  3. I feel the most important question to ask is if you're picking up a retina or a non retina. If you aren't getting a retina, it's not worth it (it's from 2012, not upgraded since then, not worth it for the price.)
  4. If you can get it on a good deal and have a use for the media stuff, I don't see why not.
  5. No, the lite edition (which has most features) is. You need to provide some annoying information (I.e. phone number), but you can just fake it.
  6. Not used it as of yet, but the beta for Davinici Resolve 12 is out, and it apparently supports a lot of video editing features, may be worth a look.
  7. I see your point, but at the same time you're more or less saying that someone else should be paid less for their work because it inconveniences you, and they should just have to deal with it. Additionally, do you use/pay for Vessel? or purchased any other sort of merch or donations to LTT? Because if you do then that makes ad block fine, in my opinion.
  8. I still maintain that fingerprints are not more secure then a password.
  9. Netbooks at proper netbook price are actually great for schools. I have a Stream 11, it's $300 it lasts all day on battery, it supports dual band, it's relatively drop proof, thin and light. Basically, great concept, the older ones sucked though.
  10. The aforementione ebay and craigslsit, but also I've found that you can pick up stuff from car boot sales and other "markets" on occasion, though testing may be difficult and selection may not be amazing.
  11. There's this, but also Vimeo seems to be more for film makers then for internet video anyway.
  12. I don't so much have sentiment with my tech, but I more have "I could get rid of this, but it's not worth anything to sell, and I could have a use for this hence I shall keep if forever".
  13. Installers for the softwear I need to work with, and my entire steam/origin/GOG library.
  14. I have never posted in the post before, but I found this and thought it may slightly interest someone - Link to a Reddit post
  15. Better game fidelity (I.e. higher res and frame rates) Cheaper games More options
  16. I'm gonna be installing in November, after HSCs and I get an SSD. In theory, unless windows update forces me to do it.
  17. Go into a call, then try to turn up the volume. It's entirely possible that in call volume is separate from all the other volume adjustments.
  18. I think the other thing you have to remember is that AMD has sponsored LTT as well in the past (like here, here(?) and here) and the fact that the website isn't really updated that often (if ever).
  19. I believe it to be the Blackmagic URSA cinema camera. Also, I have to say that that's not a bad price for a camera of that caliber. Particularly when you consider that the FS700 Linus uses is around $8000.
  20. Dishnored 2 and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
  21. If I'm perfectly honest, I can't see my mistake. What did I do wrong?
  22. Nice. That said, they have gotten a lot more better recently.
  23. They really aren't. Look at how bad non-modded skyrim is. They're maybe not as bad as some other companies, but they are not PC first. Also, the fact they were promoting console stuff at Quakecon also shows this.
