  1. I'll tell you how they fair, if they're messed up I'll just send them back and wait for them to restock and be sold by amazon.
  2. I'm not planning on buying beats what so ever, but I am planning on gaming a lot especially with fps games and I'm currently at Uni so speakers wouldn't do me great because It'd just piss off my flat mates.
  3. I'll buy the headphones, Philips X2 Fidelio and I'll report back on how much better they sound than my terrible Turtlebeach PX22 headset.
  4. So what y'all suggesting is that I get an external amp/dac rather than a soundcard? Because the soundcard I was looking at previously was this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Computers-Strix-Gaming-Soundcard-Express-116dB/dp/B0160WZEC0/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1454072936&sr=8-5&keywords=asus+strix+pro because it also came with a headphone/speaker switch which is really helpful in my case? Do you think this is overkill or unnecessary and I should just go with an amp/dac instead?
  5. Yes, which amp would be a great recommendation? Also I'm a sucker for bass, brings out explosions and the good part of music
  6. I am currently looking to buy a pair of Philips X2 Fidelio headphones to use with my Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard for gaming and music purposes. Gaming to be both casual and competitive e.g. minecraft and fps games. What I was wondering is with the purchase of this product, what would be the best approach to get really crisp clear audio and possibly be able to use 7.1 Virtual Surround etc? Any ideas e.g. internal / external soundcards or headphone amps? Thanks, Mark Quick Edit: I plug my headphones into the front PC port, does that have any audio effect or any audio difference from the rear one on the actual motherboard because I can't really tell
  7. I recently posted a thread about a new AMD build... but I scrapped that idea and a few guys helped me come up with this build instead. Please bear in mind I already have a bunch of hard drives and ssd's so No I don't need anymore. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/qZYxkL Also bear in Mind I plan on overclocking my cpu, this pc is going to be mainly used for PC gaming and video editing. £1500 budget. Running 2 Monitors. Only 1080p Why am I upgrading? Because my current build is over 2 years old and I like building PC's... duh
  8. So If I went with option C, which out of all the builds suggested would be the best within my budget?? And yes.. my name is PawButtox
  9. Could someone try rack up a pc parts list with what you just suggested because as motherboards go I have no idea what's good and what isn't, also just to bear in mind, my case is a Mid Tower and I can barely fit my current graphics card inside it with 3 storage drives
  10. The annoying thing is that some of the components chosen I can't all get from the same place and buying them from different places and paying for different shipping costs is just a hassle.
  11. I should have been more specific Kingston 60GB SSD Samsung 840 Evo 500GB SSD Seagate 2TB Hybrid SSHD
  12. I currently already have 3 harddrives in my computer, I just need an extra one because my main c: drive is getting full and I'm planning on re-installing my OS
  13. Someone previously sent me this built, I wasn't two sure on the graphics cards because I've never heard of that company but what do you think? http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/gbxM23
