  1. Yea I guess im SOL. My next build is gonna be in a mini-ITX form factor
  2. hmm, Im gonna have to do some research. I dont know if that would be adequate to use it with premiere I was actually trying to find a USB-C to 10gig port, but when I googled it, all i got were thunderbolt connections and usb hubs, so I assumed that it wasnt a thing. Do you know what I should be searching in amazon? I only looked at the first page. what would I be connecting it by? Thanks!
  3. Im thinking about building a DIY Nas with some old parts and am not very knowledgeable with networking so I had a couple of questions. Uses will be for movie storage and to store videos I take from traveling so that I can work off the NAS on my adobe premiere projects. My PC hasnt been built yet as I am waiting for availabilty on the 3950x but the motherboard I will be using doesnt have 10gbps port or an extra pci slot to install one. so I am wondering if I attach my NAS to the router, will my speed be limited by the speed of my router? Will it be the same effect whether i write or read to the NAS? (if so, any recommendations to get 10gbps?) Will SSDs be more of the bottle neck? Also, a side note, any recommendations for a good itx case or a small form factor cases that has a good amount of 2.5 ssd bays? Thanks!
  4. Cool So did you know of a good 4k external option?
  5. I am getting ready to build a new computer and I really want to build an ITX build. The only thing holding me back is that I would like to record/stream using my GH5 and will need a capture card. I dont know much about computers but it doesnt look like any x370/b350 mobos have a 2nd pci for me to install an internal capture. My question is 2 fold 1) Are there any itx boards for Ryzen that would have 2 pci slots? 2) If not, what is my best option for some sort of external 4k box (the couple I have found and read about are 300+ and at that point, I guess going itx isnt worth it for me.) Thanks in advance!
  6. Thanks for the help fellas. Would it not be better for me to sell my titan and replace it with the cheaper 970 with similar performance? Then I could just keep adding more 970s at a cheaper price to upgrade?
  7. Thanks. I just am skeptical of spending that much money on Ebay without any kind of warranty. Which is probably stupid since people do it all the time. 1 GTX 970 is vastly superior to my Titan? That sucks haha.
  8. Hey all, I am trying to put together a new rig, and I am in need of help. I built a computer about a year and a half ago, and I ended up going crazy and shelling out the extra money for me to get the GTX Titan, which at the time I was thinking that I could just reuse this GPU in future builds and just keep adding another card. Im starting to plan out what I want to buy and noticed that the original Titan isnt really available anymore and if I can find it on a reputable source, is extremely expensive. Ive also noticed 2 other models, the Z and the Black edition. Needless to say, I havent kept up with technology but it seems my idea of just buying another Titan and adding it doesnt seem like a very good long term plan as an investment. after I watched a couple of the newer GPU reviews that cost less. I do a lot of graphic design and gaming. I also would like to be able to have 4k support as monitors are slowly dropping in price. Primarily I would like to know if my best bet is to just stay with the original idea and just buy a Titan and set up an SLi, or if I would be a moron to do this. Also what options would you all recommend? Im planning on spending 1000-1500 on my GPU solution or less if Its a better value to get something cheaper. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
