Hello everyone, I was planning on doing a full build originally but due to personal reasons that would take too long. So I have decided to go down the Synology route, I intially got the 923+ but since it didn’t support Quick sync I decided to send it back. Unfortunately the only option from them appears to be a 423+ which has an older Intel CPU and half of the ram soldered so I can only add one more RAM module. For my current needs this will do. It'll be mostly for a plex server and some data backup so nothing too intensive. I've also heard the software is pretty good. The drives is why I'm making this post as it appears I might have gotten an amazing deal. I have managed to get 4x 6TB Toshiba MG08ADA600E (sold as new). These appear to be enterprise HDDs and only cost me just over £300 for all of them in total. Has anyone had any experience with these drives? I do have plex pass so I know the streaming will be fine die to hardware acceleration. I also can't see the drives being on a compatibility list so it does make me nervous especially since the whole WD RED issue.

I'm tempted to get one of these for a plex server. I am interested in seeing how it performs

Hi. I have been trying to help the other half with their Laptop with no luck. So the laptop had power going to it as the charger had the power light but wouldn't turn on. We tried holding the power button down with no luck. So we then tried the Novo button and now it boots to a screen that says "Nova button menu recovery" It is hard to see as it goes off about a second after. If I press enter then it shows the Lenovo splash screen but then turns off. During the Nova recovery menu it beeps twice. It only stays on with something in the port Any help with this please.

Corsair does seem to be more reliable then Razer from what I've read. A USB pass through would be a huge plus That's why the platinum seems good. With Leopold I would have to get it imported and the keys won't be the UK standard I believe. Otherwise that would seem ideal.

I've been eyeing Corsair for a while. I'm not sure on which model though. The K95 platinum I can get for £150 which is well within my budget. I just want to know what else there is

I want a mechanical. This razer one is too but I feel like the keys are cheap since its always felt inconsistent

It's about 3 year old and I just don't trust the brand anymore. I've only tried their green keys which are equivalent to cherry browns I think. I might get the k95 platinum

My razer keyboard is acting up. It seems to keep pasting the V and C keys even in Linux. It starts to happen after 30 mins. I'm sick of it and just want a new keyboard. I have a good budget of £200. What do you guys reccomend?

It just happened again. I'm getting another log to see if we can see what it is. It appears to be potentially a CPU or RAM issue. The first time I made the thread it happened when I played metro and this time it was when I was using 7zip

I'm sure I'm on the newest bios. powerwise I'm on 120v and not sure.

Hi guys As you may remember I purchased a Razer keyboard a couple of weeks ago. I noticed yesterday that some keys were not clicking the same as the other keys,so I'm returning it I'm aware the QA is something to be desired but should I refund or replace it and get something else ?

My case wouldn't allow me to go SLI so 1440P G Sync then ?
