  1. Nice looking build o7, was the GPU anti-sag bracket included with the GPU since it has the XFX branding on it?
  2. Hello everyone I finished my custom watercooled build this January, and I noticed that my Bykski CPU block shows signs of corrosion see added picture. First I started to suspect the Bykski CPU-block since it was the most "sketchy part" but after looking through my list of components I noticed that I have not had any anti corrosive / anti bacterial addetives in my loop. I bought what I thought was premixed fluid, but now after checking the product text on "Alphacool Ultra Pure Water 1L it clearly states "Without any additives: " " My question now is where I go from here? The obvious ones is buying a new CPU block. The GPU block does not have any visual signs of the nickel plating, disappering. But what about rads and the other stuff? I plan on flushing the system multiple times. but other tips are more than welcome. I have made a list of the components that I have in my loop for good measure. CPU Block: Bykski Ryzen-X-MC GPU Block: Alphacool Eisblock Aurora Acryl GPX-A Radeon 5600/5700 XT Res: Phanteks Glacier R160C Pump: Alphacool Laing DDC310 Single Edition RAD1: Alphacool NexXxoS ST25 Full Copper 240mm RAD2: Magicool 360 Slim G2 Radiator Misc:Bykski B-HP-DV-BK drain valve (Brass) and various fittings mostly from Alphacool and some ekwb ones. 4. Hello I have been browsing the internet, and I fell over this image of a wooden chassie that someone had made. My question is how he achieved the frame out of what seems like a single piece of wood. Is it milled from a solid piece of wood, or is it a straight piece that he somehow managed to bend? I have searched a bit around this forum and fell across this thread, that shows the use of smaller thinner pieces of wood bend. But my question basically boils down to how the frame is made on the attached photo.
  5. I want a Tech Quickie on the different Sizes for Rackmount chassies? width/height/units etc.
  6. Well if you took time to look into the products. You can see that Both the H80i and the Fractal Celsius coolers have what seems to be Asetek Mounting hardware, with the "teeth" mounting.
  7. Thanks for that reply, I have obviously checked the list, and that is why I made this thread. I've seen people reporting that coolers like the H80i works even though it is not on the list...
  8. hello people Is anyone aware if the Fractal design AIO's (Celsius) are compatible with the Kraken G12? It looks like it uses an Asetek layout. but I want to be sure, before I purchase it. https://www.nzxt.com/products/kraken-g12-white http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/water-cooling/celsius-s24
  9. I'll try it with my friends AX860, on monday, Thanks =) @Prysin - I will try with my friends AX860, otherwise an RMA it is :V.
  10. They are Mainboard: Asus P9 X79 CPU: i7-3820k @stock RAM: 16GB DDR3 1600Mhz SSD: Samsung 830 Pro 120GB PSU: HX650 or CX600M
  11. Hello everyone I have aquired a used R9 Fury from XFX, more specifically this model: XFXForce.com However I cannot get it to boot. The XFX-website says Minimum Power Supply Requirement : 750 watt, but I've heard that you should take that with a grain of salt. I have now tried it with a HX650W and a CX600M (just in case the HX were dead.) Everything starts up, except the power-phase LED's on the R9 Fury. I am aware that the AMD cards are far from power efficient, but i though I would at least get a post... :V
  12. Rig name: Meh..? CPU: Intel i5-3570K @ 4.1GHz GPU: AMD Radeon R9 285 RAM: 2x8GB 1600MHz DDR3 Corsair Vengence Score 3.2 (Medium)
  13. The drilling out and replacing Rivits idea seems like a bit over what I expected. But I think I will end up with something like the Phanteks Enthoo EVOLVE micro tower. And then paint it , Just scared about the whole paint thing. Since I have never tried it before. But Thanks n.n Grats on #3000 :3/ but yeah I think a tj07 is a bit overkill for a M-ATX build, but maybe I should look at silverstones smaller cases
  14. I could do. Only problem with that is that it seems to be rivited together I guess my next question will be. Is there any case that are put together with only screws and not rivits C: ?
  15. Hey Everyone I am in a pinch. I am looking for a very specific case, but I cannot find one that suits my needs. So now I ask you guys for help My Requirements are as follows: - Mini-tower that can fit a Micro-ATX motherboard - White + White interior like the NZXT H440 or Fractal Design R5 - windowed sidepanel - some watercooling capabilities. Here I think something like 1x120 in the back, and 1x 240 in front/top Are there really no Micro-ATX towers that have white interior? or am I missing something? The closest I have found is the Phanteks Enthoo EVOLVE micro tower. Too bad it is black inside
