    Why does it matter, as long as there's still the option for free, ad-supported viewing of all content? Doesn't sound so bad to me.
     
    Whether or not it's good for content creators is going to depend on the details that we aren't privy to. If enough revenue is being shared with the content creator to cover what the ads would've brought in, then it's at least a net loss of zero.

    Looks good for a general student pc, not anything demanding though. And in your case I think bumping up to 16gb of RAM will be worthwhile
