    My favourite thing is definitely not having the volume/power buttons on the side. I can't tell you how many times I accidentally press the buttons on my S4. I hope I get selected!

    I was able to price match a printer at Best Buy today from some obscure online retailer on the other side of the country. So I don't see any reason why they wouldn't price match a local Microsoft store.

    I'm running the Intel G3220 on the Asus H87I-Plus in my FreeNAS box. Here was my thread for reference: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/121481-nas-build-help/ So far its working flawlessly. You won't be disappointed. As for the amount of RAM, the rule of thumb is 1GB per 1TB of storage with a minimum of 8GB. See http://doc.freenas.org/index.php/Hardware_Recommendations#RAM And another note, FreeNAS runs fine off of a USB thumb drive, so that will save you a SATA port and make cable management a bit easier.

    I use 3M poster mounts (pretty much double sided sticky foam). It's been years and my LEDs / SSDs haven't moved. They also have the benefit of not leaving residue when you remove them.

    I have to force Youtube to use the flash player. The HTML5 player always desyncs the audio.

    Wait for the response from Fractal Design. Corsair sent me a replacement for my for panel connectors, no questions asked, so maybe Fractal is just as nice.

    Yes, I'm using ZFS. I just did some testing with Plex, and it seems like two simultaneous 1080p transcodes is the limit. Tested with direct play on my Desktop, and forced transcoding on my Samsung Smart TV, Nexus 7, and Galaxy S4. I tried many combinations, and these work: 1) Direct play on desktop + 1080p (quality level 10/12) stream on TV + 1080p (8 Mbps) stream on Nexus 7 or Galaxy S4. 2) Direct play on desktop + 1080p (quality level 10/12) stream on TV + 720p (4 Mbps) stream on Nexus 7 + 720p (4 Mbps) stream on Galaxy S4. 3) Direct play on desktop + direct play on TV + 1080p (8 Mbps) stream on Nexus 7 + 1080p (8 Mbps) stream on Galaxy S4.
