  1. You never know, some online merchants might not verify the name/billing address. And on topic, I always submit the MIRs. I've received $100s from Patriot, Corsair, and probably some other companies as well.
  2. I just checked the balances, and each card still has $20 on it...
  3. You just posted photos of 3 AMEX gift cards complete with card number, security code, and expiry date... Someone just took your $60...
  4. I noticed this too and it's been driving me crazy...
  5. I use Coolermaster R4 fans. Not the best fans out there, but they are cheap...
  6. My favourite part is definitely "Hey guys, I'm on a mountain".
  7. Tracking numbers can take a day to show up on the currier's website. Check again tomorrow.
  8. My favourite thing is definitely not having the volume/power buttons on the side. I can't tell you how many times I accidentally press the buttons on my S4. I hope I get selected!
  9. This was announced already. https://twitter.com/LinusTech/status/482252151935094785
  10. I was able to price match a printer at Best Buy today from some obscure online retailer on the other side of the country. So I don't see any reason why they wouldn't price match a local Microsoft store.
  11. I beat all of you. Member since 02 January 2013. 181st member.
  12. I'm running the Intel G3220 on the Asus H87I-Plus in my FreeNAS box. Here was my thread for reference: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/121481-nas-build-help/ So far its working flawlessly. You won't be disappointed. As for the amount of RAM, the rule of thumb is 1GB per 1TB of storage with a minimum of 8GB. See http://doc.freenas.org/index.php/Hardware_Recommendations#RAM And another note, FreeNAS runs fine off of a USB thumb drive, so that will save you a SATA port and make cable management a bit easier.
  13. I use 3M poster mounts (pretty much double sided sticky foam). It's been years and my LEDs / SSDs haven't moved. They also have the benefit of not leaving residue when you remove them.
  14. I have to force Youtube to use the flash player. The HTML5 player always desyncs the audio.
  15. Definitely 3D printing. There are so many possibilities.
  16. I find that it's still more expensive after shipping than buying at a local store.
