    I would think its the speed upgrade that helped your streaming issues. A 10/100 router should be sufficient for those download speeds (50 Mbps < 100 Mbps). Gigabit (10/100/1000) routers just allow for faster wired transfer between devices (provided your devices have gigabit ports), and shouldn't have any benefit on your download speed. As for your wifi devices, its possible that the new router has better wireless than the old router (ie. wireless N instead of b/g). Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

    ...backup your data...or at least invest in a UPS. I just wanted to share my story with you. This week there was a power outage in my building. Being unlucky me, it killed two of the hard drives in my sever which were in RAID 5. Not one, but two. The two drives wouldn't spin up anymore and made clicking noises. I lost around 5TB of data. On the bright side, I do have my pictures and music mirrored on an external hard drive, which are the most important files. Now $300 poorer, it's time to rebuild my library.

    Personally, I trust Paypal more than either of them. Origin accepts Paypal, Amazon doesn't. =/

    Why wouldn't you just get it on Origin for $2 less? You need Origin to play the game anyways. I'm pretty sure Amazon just gives you a code to download it through Origin.

    I had a major overheating problem on my HP HDX. I replaced the thermal compound last year and it instantly solved the problem. =D

    I'd love to contribute, but I can't handle the heat and noise, unless there is a way to reduce the GPU usage. Sorry.
