  1. I have a gtx 980 in my personal rig but this would be perfect for my wife's rig rocking a radeon 6850.
  2. Looks like a barrel of fun with a couple friends
  3. edited what. i as actually editing the reply to you to be more detailed but the original post? no. I'm not trying to be an asshole I am just trying to clarify. First I have had my build you a few years now and don't have any money to switch to an intel based build (which is what you stated) and yes i know intel is far superior to amd but it gets the job done. Second I own a 980 that i have a warranty on and the guys at the store told me to trade it in for full refund and upgrade to a new card. it will cost me very little to nothing i am just trying to get advice from the community if anybody has a case/setup similar to mine where most of the air intake comes in through a cpu radiator.
  4. I do appreciate the link to the video but i was kinda hoping for some advice from somebody who may be running an blower cooler in a similar setup (almost all air intake coming through the cpu radiator) and i plan on waiting to see what zen has to offer as i don't have anywhere near enough money to do a motherboard and cpu upgrade currently.
  5. I am currently planning on upgrading to a GTX 1080 from my Evga 980 sc. My question is about buying a blower or an internal exaust card. here is my build as it stands http://pcpartpicker.com/user/RedEyes1290/saved/x7NfrH i have the radiator of my h100i mounted in the front of the case as it is the only place it will fit. i have 2 120mm fans as exhaust on the top of the case as well as 2 80mm fans as exhaust on the back. I also have 2 80mm fan pulling air from the bottom directly onto the graphics card (or as best they can seeing as the spots they are on are designed for 120mm fans and there is not a lot of space under the case to pull air from) The question is should i but a blower style card or can i get away with putting a internal exhaust card like the evga 1080 sc with the acx 3.0 cooler? Pics on my rig for clarification http://imgur.com/a/Lywjs . If I need any other details please let me know i would be more than happy to provide them. One last thing i should mention is that when i bought the 980 from microcenter i bought an extended warranty on recommendation from several employees to use it as an upgrade program so i will not be paying more that $50 for my upgrade. i just wanted to add that in before people tell me to use my money to switch to an Intel build. i don't have the money for that. i am kinda waiting to see what Zen will bring.
