    Have a plan, a vision.
Explain to the vendor WHY your project is different from any one else putting parts in a case and show it on a forum.
What makes your project stand out from others.

You don´t need fancy renderings, pen and paper + photo of that does good, but explain and try to get the reader to see the same thing you see.

Prepare to back your vision up with what you have done earlier.
Do not count on getting sponsored in your 1st build.

A regular sponsor email starts with "i´m putting a Intel 5960x and 52 Titan blacks into..." -- that isn´t anything spectacular, anyone with a load of money or credit can do that. Its HOW you put that cpu and gpu´s together that matters.
Show the vendor, my idea is this - not what hardware you are using, everyone can put parts in a case.

On a personal note, i am a modder myself and also get alot of emails from other modders about sponsorships, 99% of my personal sponsoring is by the vendor approaching me.
And 99% of the people i sponsor as a Bitfenix rep. is the ones i find, not the ones who asks me.

So do something to make you visible, what you can do, not what you say you can do

    Its not WHAT you do
    Its HOW you do it

You will show more of the motherboard plate with a Prodigy M panel on a Prodigy case, but if you know what you want, it sure fits.
Front and side panels are interchangable between them.

I think you have to switch the panel with the ports to the other side, it just makes it backwards

IMO, Plastidip is not really good for painting anything...here is the procedure i follow:
Scuff up/sand existing area if already painted or if raw metal, prep and apply chemical conversion coating Rinse with water and dry completely with clean, dry cloth Apply 1-2 coats of self-etching (if you didnt prep/chem convert before), epoxy-based or regular spray primer (automotive brands usually work best) Apply 2-4 coats of enamel or epoxy based spray paint, sanding (with 400-800 grit sandpaper) and wiping in between coats. In terms of brands, there are several good ones out there:
Rust-Oleum Dupli-Color VHT Paints Krylon 3M What hardware/big box stores do you have around you? I can point you to what good brands are at what store.

The Comrade is somewhat limited in airflow also, a Bitfenix Neos (same internals) would be a better option if you will fill it with high heat components.
There is 2x120mm fan mounts on the Comrade, but you will have trouble to use thoose fans 100% as the only opening in the front panel is a cutout in the bottom wich can give you airflow noise and a bit higher inside temps.
Comrade will most probably not give you overheating problems, but, with a Neos you can lower the fan speeds, running the system less noisy and have better cooling trough the case, for long gaming sessions.

Bitfenix got a reaction from -ism in Question for BitFenix Alchemy LED Strip Owners
Taste is a big matter here, what kind of light you want and how well spread you want it.
A 30cm strip will probably cover more of the case, but if you only want to light around the CPU area, a 12cm probably will be enough if you not want it too bright.
Easy to order one more later, rather than getting too much light now with a 30cm.

You will probably get most light at the top and getting darker the lower you get.
