switched the cards and nothing changed. Its most likely just poor optimization because the cpu isn't getting even close to 100% usage in the metro benchmark. Thanks fo rthe help though.

It runs at about the same clock speed after gpu boost with only the one card. I tested it with the second card as well with the same result.

the top card runs at about 63C I will try it with one card and with the monitor in the second card

In heaven it hits 99 on one card and between 90-95 on the other. Both are well within thermal limits and running at the same clock speed as it seems, and the cpu usage only hits about 25% and maintains 4.4 GHZ

i7 4790k with asus z-97-ar with the graphics cards in the top 2 16x slots with both slots running in 8x mode. I am running the latest drivers geforce experience provided. I believe I have the sli bridge in correctly as I looked up photos and they all have it in the same way. Since they are in 2 way I believe the bridge can go on either set of fingers, but i currently have them both on the first 2. My mobo I am almost sure is compatible as the sli bridge came in the mobo box.

I am currently running dual evga gtx 980s in sli. However I noticed low performance. I ran the metro 2033 benchmark and got similar scores with sli disabled as enabled. does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

I am currently having an issue where at the start of a round of siege, I get a black screen for up to five seconds. While not a game breaking issue it is very annoying. This issue happens only in fullscreen at the start of a round when I spawn as a defender or into my drone as an attacker. It is negated in windowed borderless but I would prefer to use fullscreen. I have tried repairing the games files or doing a clean installation of graphics card drivers and the issue is still occurring. I own the game through uplay and not steam. This only seems to happen in this game and I went to the games Reddit but no one responded so I came here. My system specs are: -i7 4790k -2x gtx 980 sli -asus z97-ar -16GB of Mushkin 1600 MHz ram -2 1tb western digital hdds -1 1tb Samsung ssd where windows and the games are installed -1 120gb Kingston ssd. Anything helps!

I have gotten to the point in crashing where I believe it has to do with my. I ran memtest86 and got numerous errors. I ran it again with xmp enabled and after I set the timings manually and am still getting errors. I have a asus z97-ar mobo and a 4790k. While the ram was not on the supported list I read many great reviews and heard good things about the company and products. The ram has a lifetime warranty so I can most likley just RMA it and get new sticks. Is there anything else I can do to test or fix it or at least narrow it down to if it is the ram, mobo, or cpu. Anything helps and I am great full for all recommendations or info.

Think its a great idea and would be the perfect thing to use in my small home theater setup in my basement

They are just dead, and it gets to a point where I can't move on due to how the game is designed, and its just not mush fun.

I am playing through Black Mesa on steam and after reinstalling windows my save from the steam cloud stopped working. The ai in it are unmovable and do not fight back. I got to the chapter apprehension and was wondering if anyone could help me out by sending me a save at this level or directing me to one to download. Thanks.

I am running dual 980's and I've run into a problem with the vram limit in gta V. It is pooling my 980s together and is setting the vram limit for 8 gigabytes. I have tried looking for a way to force it to 4 in a launch preference but I haven't been able to find it. Does anyone know how to fix this because I believe that this is why my game is crashing.
