  1. As far as I can see this is the only visible damage. RAM and GPU smell fine.
  2. Is it possible that the voltage/current didn't even reach the CPU?
  3. Hey guys, I think I broke my CPU but as I have no way of testing it in a different board right now I just want to know what my chances are. Here is what happened: I connected a Sonoff Basic (I know..) in parallel to the power button, plugged the Sonoff and PC in and instantly blew the fuse. Also it smelled funny. Soo yeah I tried to turn the PC on with 230 Volts AC. The board is dead. Is there a chance that the chip was saved? The burn marks are only visible around the IO pins. The board is an Asrock h87 pro4m and the CPU is an Intel Xeon E3 1230v3. Any information on the probable health of the CPU and maybe even GPU is appreciated.
