  1. Sorry guys I won't be able to make it on May 2nd.
  2. Yeah your cpu is bottlenecking, GTA V requires a quadcore minimum and you have a dual core. A way to tell if your cpu is bottlenecking is just look at your cpu usage in task manager and see if it starts spiking at 100%, if it is then for sure a cpu bottleneck. Just a tip with GTA V turn the population settings done to minimum, that helps loads with the cpu load.
  3. No it does not stack, this is a bug with gta v, it just multiplies the video memory by how many gpus you have in sli/crossfire. This includes the amount each setting uses as well as how much you have available.
  4. Yup d3sl91 was right, was a cpu bottleneck.
  5. It would not be a cpu bottleneck a quad core is plenty for any game. If the driver update did not fix the fps try a bios flash. Also just a note turn everything off in the advanced graphics settings in gta v, those have been known to kill fps. To help a bit more with troubleshooting could you post some stats on your gpu power usage, temp, and gpu usage that could help find the issue faster.
  6. Very thankful for the giveaway TimmyTech! Also you should know that the reason why they can't have the contest internationally is because of the insane costs of shipping overseas.
  7. Although it might seem like a good idea to install the drivers from the CD, install the latest drivers from the manufacturers website, by downloading them from you laptop then putting them on your desktop, since they will usually have fixes for problems. The other problem could be that your wireless card is busted and you might need to get a new one, but do testing to see if you can get more details on the problem.
  8. Just to make sure that your card is finding the DNS automatically go into your control panel, then your network and sharing, then go into adapters and right click the wireless card that you are using, then go into properties. You should then see the IPV4 and IPV6 go into the properties of both of them and make sure everything is set on automatic. That should find the DNS properly which I think may be the cause of your problem.
