  1. so i found this on another tech forum, and im wondering if this is correct: “So assuming a 120Hz monitor and a 120 FPS output from the GPU, every 8.3333 ms (1/120th of a second) a new frame is generated and sent to the monitor to display. The pixels START changing colors. The response time is the time it takes for the pixels to go from the old frame color to the new frame color. The shorter the better obviously. In a 120Hz monitor if the response time is for example 1ms (for all pixels, see below) it will take 1ms for all pixels to change and then for the remainder of this cycle (7.333 next ms) the frame will be static. We can all see how if the response time is greater than 8.333 ms for a 120Hz screen this would be terrible as the pixels would never quite achieve the final color of the current frame before having to start displaying the next frame again.” also, if this is correct, does this mean if im getting a monitor that is 120hz, i will not have any ghosting, as long the response time is 8.33ms (1000ms / 120hz = 8.33ms) or less? and anything higher than 8.33, i may have ghosting?
  2. yea right, when i said it doesnt cause harm i wasnt thinking of that lol. i was thinking it isnt cancer causing because a lot of people associate "radiation" (like microwave radiation) with cancer
  3. microwave radiation doesnt affect our body in anyway, because the wavelengths are long. shorter ones like ultraviolet or worse, x-ray or gamma radiaton can all can cause damage. wifi , cellular service, phones, computers all use microwave radiation, but they are not harmful. the sun is, though
  4. my mom thinks computers and phones gives off harmful radiation. and so does the rest of my family
  5. I need help looking for a cheap budget monitor ($80 max) suitable for gaming Resolution: 1440x900 i dont care if it is refurbished pls give me link
