if the video is fullscreen or the computer didn't notice it didn't stop playing then it won't sleep. mine does the same thing occasionally. Doesn't really answer your questions though i guess.

That's what i usually use, but haven't found a way for multiple installs on one drive. Unless i've overlooked something.

I'm trying to make a flash drive so I can keep on my OS installs on one "Master" drive so i don't have to keep making new bootable Flash Drive. I've seen some multiple version windows bootable installer usb drives but haven't come across any with both linux and windows. I've got the following OS's that i want on the drive:- Kubuntu 15.10 64bit Kubuntu 15.10 32bit Ubuntu 14.04.4 64bit Ubuntu 14.04.4 32bit Ubuntu 15.10 64bit Ubuntu 15.10 32bit Windows 7 32 & 64bit Windows 8.1 Pro 64bit Windows 10 Pro 64bit Windows Vista Home 64bit Windows XP Pro 64bit IS there any way to squeeze these on one drive for installing them? like, when i boot into the usb you select which "Partition" or whatever and when you select it, it then boots into the installer. i tried using several partitions but my bios won't give me the option to select which one to boot from. Does anyone have any ideas? I install OS's throughout the day for my job so this would make it a whole lot easier than having like 20 flash drives laying around.

Hey guys, I'm having several issues with the Windows File Explorer, I've included some screenshots to better give an idea of what my issues are. I googled around and couldn't find much on how to fix these issues. (some are issues some are just annoying "features") - I want to remove my Quick Access from the sidebar and have yet to see an option to make it disappear. - Also, in the "My Computer" There is this blank icon that i can delete, but if i close or simply reopen File Explorer it comes back! It's extremely annoying. - I also want the "Security & Maintenance" and "Troubleshooting" links removed from My Computer, but i can't delete them. - And whats the point of having the "Library" folder on the sidebar if they stick the (My Documents, My Videos, My Music, and My Pictures) under the My PC menu? I want it removed from there and under the my library menu only. I would highly prefer only Hard Drives and Flash Drives be under the My PC and My Computer sections. Is there a way to accomplish all this? either through Registry, or some kind of application? Thanks!

as the title says i have a GTX 970 by PNY with a reference cooler. it idles at high temps that from what i told are normal for the reference coolers compared to open coolers. my question is, could i get a different cooler for it? none watercooled. i was looking at the ARCTIC Accelero Xtreme III and was wondering if maybe that would work? also, could i just get a different cooler from one of the other GTX 970's by a different brand? like MSI or GALAX or something. i know one of them had really cool LED lighting effects that i would love to have for my build. so, is it possible to put the ARCTIC cooler on here or can i get a different brands cooler on ebay or something and attatch it without modding? i dont want to mod the card.

Alright, it just seemed abnormal to me after having the MSI GTX 960 2G. Would you guys recommend overclocking? if so, what kind of OC am i looking at? 15% 25% 50% without getting ridiculously hot and unsafe.

I do have two monitors but this is happening even when the second one is powered off and i even tried unplugging it. I know the reference coolers (i think that's what this kind is called) aren't super efficiant but it just seems excessive to me. i was going to overclock but with the way the temps are i don't feel safe doing so

So I recently picked up a PNY GTX 970 4gb and it appears to be having heat issues. Before i had a MSI GTX 960 2g gaming edition and it would idle at around 30-35 while this GTX 970 is idling at an insane 45-53C which is high in my opinion when im just at the desktop. I keep my PC clean and there is very little dust in my computer at all times so there general cooling factor should'nt be an issue. please help guys! why is it running so hot? PNY says anything below 105C is fine but 53 at idle isn't IMO especially when i start gaming and it rising to 80C I check the fan and cooler on the card and it's working fine. if i adjust the fan curve in afterburner it gets ALOT louder but runs cooler. the fan seems to be needing to stay at 60% just to keep it at 35C my 960 had zero frozr and its fans were off and it would idle at 30-35 easily. so im a little confused it how this 970 is so hot all the time.

I've been trying to overclock my EVGA GT 640 Dual Slot 4gb Ram using MSI Afterburner, it works with the new clocks sort of, i tried minecraft with ultimate shaders mod, usually i get 15 so so FPS after the new clocks were set i got 36 and i was very pleased, HOWEVER after 3 seconds my gpu was still maxed out on usage but the clock was at 300 so so which is the idling clock speed (i did not set this, its default) but the graph shows for those 3 seconds it ran at 1153 clock speed (was when i was getting 30fps) so my question is, why is my gpu throttling down to idle speeds when i try to play games, i fear this is why overclocking doesnt aid in performance for modded skyrim or other games i play. any ideas?
