  1. IE actually isn't terrible anymore. There isn't nearly as much separating the four browsers as there used to be (IE, Firefox, Chrome and Opera).
  2. You're watching all those? Currently?
  3. You also said you were "looking in for refreshment". The OP already has his new mouse, but you made it sound like you were in the market for a new one.
  4. Not only is it wrong to say that any switch is preferred for gaming, but even if you tried to, linear switches tend to win, which blues and browns aren't. Neither of them have the lightest actuation force and I'm pretty sure the actuation distance is identical for every cherry MX switch, but even if it isn't, there is no "perfect" actuation distance. Basically, it's all wrong and pure marketing bullshit.
  5. Wolf's Rain. It's a bit weird, but decent. Yoko Kanno does the music so naturally, that's been great.
  6. Erm, you're giving wrong information on both counts there. As has been said, the BW comes with blues and browns, but also the K70 comes in two versions...One is the black body/red backlight and the other is the silver body/blue backlight like the K90. Edit: Ugh, I just checked the Blackwidow page to make sure they didn't use blacks just for the space bar or something and came across this... It's brainless bullshit like this that makes me hate you, Razer.
  7. So I've since been looking at alternative Bittorrent clients and seeing as this thread got resurrected, I figure I'll mention I settled on Tixati. It uses less CPU than Deluge, less memory than qBittorrent and the interface reminds me of my old WinMX days (but it lets you set the colours of damn near everything). If anyone's lost faith in utorrent, give it a try.
  8. By control, I mean do you rest your palm on the mouse when you move it. Between that reply and your other thread, the Abyssus sounds like it might suit you, with the CM Spawn (smaller) and Zowie EC2 Evo (bigger) coming second/third.
  9. Okay, you seem to label yourself a fingertip gripper in the OP and then say you won't be able to use a mouse in a palm-style grip, so which is it? Palm: CM Storm Recon, Roccat Savu, Zowie EC2 Evo Fingertip: CM Storm Spawn, Logitech G9x (if you play a lot of FPS, I wouldn't get this) Not sure: Razer Abyssus, Razer Krait 2013 (import) That third group may be palmable or not depending on just how small your hands are.
  10. If this is for you, you should've said. - What grip do you use? - Does your palm control the mouse? - Do you anchor your wrist? The Recon was the best mouse in the poll, how come it's no longer on the cards?
  11. G400, $37 at Amazon. Of the mice in the poll however, the Recon is the best by objective measures, followed by the Abyssus.
  12. Probably, but I'm not sure what you'd need it for.
  13. That's not good either! So you have 6000 DPI, maxed out windows pointer speed and enhance pointer precision enabled? I'm amazed you hit anything. :P
  14. The G500 is actually a downgrade. The sensor in the G400 is superior in every way but DPI.
  15. It doesn't have much flex...It's just permanently bent? Things like the warpage and flickering LEDs are the kind of thing that got the original Blackwidow it's terrible reputation, albeit they're some of the more benign defects. I'm not sure you should be recommending others participate in the same lottery, though. Best to just stick with the 2013 revision...
  16. I'd imagine the K70 would win in the comfort stakes.
  17. Firefox. Open-source and customization wins every time. It's also winning it terms of system resources these days.
  18. As has been said, the Steelseries 7G and Corsair provide the best wrist rests, but I'd go with the K70 or wait for the K95 rather than get a K90. You don't want to buy a mechanical keyboard and still be stuck with rubber domes... Alternatively, as has been said, Filco and Ducky have quite nice wrist rests, sold separately.
  19. I wanted to know if you'd put windows sensitivity down to 1 in an effort to control the huge amounts of DPI, because it'd actually be detrimental for anything that didn't have a "raw input" option.
  20. If you're a fingertip user, consider some smaller mice. The Xornet's a good choice for our grip size-wise, since it gives more room for maneuverability without hitting other parts of our hand. The G100s probably qualifies there, actually.
  21. And how many of those were being sponsored by Steelseries?
  22. Okay, so you said you had experience of MX Blacks. Reds are like that, while blues have a bump and a click on the way down. No one's said it yet, but blues are also loud, to the point of possibly being annoying to those who live with you. If noise is an issue (if you live with people who could be annoyed by the noise), you might want to go with reds.
  23. I wouldn't usually recommend a laser mouse, much less a wireless one, but the G700/G700s might be a good transition into gaming mice for you. If you want to take a bit more of a risk on the shape, then maybe try the Deathadder 2013 or Zowie EC1 Evo, plus a decent mousepad if you don't have one (the more uniformly black, the better).
  24. http://geekhack.org/index.php?PHPSESSID=7fuoioadbe9jcgc88otomqvk26&topic=42666.0 That was from the 22nd and the only thing he mentions is a green switch/backlit TK. That means the possibility of anything else is at least months away.
