  1. thats more intense than my schedule. I like doing crossfit but the last class of the day is at 6pm and my classes get out at 5:30pm and there is just no way to make it to the gym by 6pm and eat. I am typically on campus by 11am everyday. I cant do morning work outs. its not something I do. so after the 16th, when i graduate from uni and move, I plan on finding a new crossfit gym. I used to be super fit back in highschool. stopped working out in college cause every dude in the uni gym is swoll AF. could not manage working out and going to uni at the same time so i was not inclinded to pay for a membership I would only use a few times a month. got fat, 180lbs. ate clean for 8 months. dropped to 150lbs. currently sitting at 160lbs. I actually got a knee injury this past summer a month in half into my new crossfit gym. knee injury happened while i was sitting in class. stretched my legs out to get comfortable, knee popped, intense pain followed. could hardly walk, much less go up or down stairs. had to cancel crossfit and start rehab on my knee. knee is much better now so I hope to get back into lifting here shortly.
  2. I was doing crossfit over the summer for the first time and opted to try creatin again since the last time I tired it was back when i played sports in highschool. but yes, for the average person they wont see the effects of creatine on their workout performance.
  3. I havent found a creatine that doesnt give me a instantanious headache. though ive also havent tired many. so expensive to try. I need to find a way to order samples. I know some people say they get headache from the dehydration but for me, as soon as it hits the tounge its a raging headache.
  4. they are safe. like anything thing you should always be drinking alot of water through out the day as it helps flush out the kidneys. ive personally used syntha six. its a bit higher in carbs and fats but being 160lbs and 5' 11" and 23 years old i can virually eat anything.
  5. you should probabbly view safer porn. just saying.
  6. might i ask why? I know they can be costly but ultimately if you are lifting you are going to want a supplement. There are good powders on the market that are low carb and fats. also, creatine is not necessary if you are not doing semi-professional or high endurance activities.
  7. youll build muscle just at a slower rate. the body is designed to strengthen and hard areas that are exposed to excess stress. hints getting calluses on your feet or your hands. calories are not a major factor as much as you should focus on a high protein diet. protein has a much lower calorie count than something such as breads and sugars but because protein does not turn to fat you wont put on fat weight. but if you are under 20 years old it wont matter what you eat and you can eat what ever you like. get yourself a shaker bottle, fill it with protein powder and when you need a snack in the middle of the day, fill the bottle up with water, shake, and consume.
  8. i was suggesting daisy chaining. which i am aware this is a terrible idea.
  9. so Ive already got an A/B that ive built myself, however by going with an focusrite scarlett 2i2 I can effectively have the same thing with a bit more function down the road. i.e. adding a propper mic.
  10. hmmm i guess all/most studio monitors are powered? if thats the case i mean i can make something work, such has getting a power strip for my power strip.
  11. hmmm. not bad. but each speaker needs a power plug. not to keen on that. im kinda out of outlet space and im already using to power strips. I did see that there was this deal on amazon. I know it can be bought cheaper if bought individually. http://www.amazon.com/JBL-LSR305-Monitors-Scarlett-Interface/dp/B00L6JHH8C/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1448925060&sr=8-5&keywords=jbl+lsr305+speakers
  12. alright so moving away from logitch for speaker/monitors. got any other suggestions? mind you im also not looking for the full system. just the speakers.
  13. I dont need surround. just a pair. also i am kinda aware that i am sort of low balling it with $200 but i figure if i went in low i could get a better price to performance pair of speakers. I know i could just get a pair of studio monitors for $1000 but really i dont need that.
  14. v-moda crossfade lp customs. not sure how headphones help me solve my desk speaker problem. but ok.
  15. Im looking for new desk speakers. ideally I would prefer best price to performance for the pair but can be persuaded to spend a little more. I am not sure if I want to just get a set of powered speakers or if i should get passive and get a dac and amp to go with. mostly just trying to figure out what speakers to get right now and can decide on dac and amp later. I have looked at the audioengine a2+ but they look like more smoke than fire. right now i am using a pair of $15 logitech speakers i got from amazon. so i absolutely need an upgrade.
  16. the original ideal of survival of the fitest and adaptation by chance is ok with me. however that idea that we changed from monkey to humans; ya thats bewildering.
  17. today I watched "The Princess and The Pilot". very enjoyable.
