  1. Maybe something like 3600 mhz 16 cl? What looks so bad about my ram? Is it beacuse it's 18 cl? I assume 3600 is good because you use that.
  2. Yeah pretty much. I want to be able to upgrade my 64gb to 128 in time. You having the 5800x what ram would you recommend?
  3. So I should keep my ram instead of getting cl 16 3200?
  4. here's my build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Kqckwz I ordered all my parts, only waiting for my CPU to get here. I got 32gbx2 ram (64gb) beacuse I want to have availability to upgrade to 128. I got G.Skil TridentZ RGB DDR4-3600 CL18 My question is should I go for lower CL rating like cl 14 or 16 and 3200 mhz does the new AMD CPUs like faster mhz or lower CL? I also wonder if that ram I got will work with my motherboard. I was looking at G.SKILL Trident Z Neo Series is optimized for AMD x570 chipset. This is the other ram I'm talking about. https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-64gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820232952 The picture I attached is the Trident Z Neo Series specs
  5. Would it give a advantage if you were to stream and game at the same time? Or is it mainly for video and photo rendering?
  6. That's a good point. I'm getting the 4k monitor latter on. I need two monitors now, so I'll also be gaming on one. I don't want to get I 60hz and then a 144hz I'd rather spend the extra money for them to be the same. You think the extra money is worth it for the 5950x?
  7. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07F2PHGKW/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_3?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 These any good?
  8. Okay try now. I will be getting the 5900x not the 3900. Yeah probably will just go for the 3080 the extra 800-1000$ doesn't seem worth it for just 5-10 more Fps lol PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8 GHz 12-Core Processor $429.99 @ Amazon CPU Cooler Corsair iCUE H150i RGB PRO XT 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $144.99 @ Newegg Thermal Compound Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver 3.5 g Thermal Paste $6.10 @ Amazon Motherboard Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard $160.91 @ Amazon Memory G.Skill Ripjaws V 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory $129.99 @ Newegg Storage Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive $299.99 @ Amazon Video Card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 24 GB Founders Edition Video Card Case Corsair 750D ATX Full Tower Case $165.89 @ Amazon Power Supply Corsair RM (2019) 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply $154.99 @ Corsair Optical Drive Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer $19.98 @ Amazon Monitor LG 27GL850-B 27.0" 2560x1440 144 Hz Monitor $489.99 @ Best Buy Monitor LG 27GL850-B 27.0" 2560x1440 144 Hz Monitor $489.99 @ Best Buy Monitor LG 27GN950-B 27.0" 3840x2160 144 Hz Monitor $796.99 @ B&H Keyboard Logitech G915 Lightspeed RGB Wireless Gaming Keyboard $249.99 @ Adorama Mouse Logitech G502 HERO Wired Optical Mouse $48.99 @ Amazon Headphones Logitech Pro X Gaming 7.1 Channel Headset $129.99 @ B&H Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $3718.77 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-10-14 01:30 EDT-0400
  9. Good build. Here's what I got: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/jahria00/saved/ I'm not sure if I should get the 5900x or the 5950x I will only beg gaming / streaming and coding, I don't think I will be doing any crazy photoshop renders or c4d. I also don't know if I should get the 3090 and go over budget a bit or go with the 3080. I heard you only get 5-10 more Fps on ultra settings. Worth it?
  10. I'd rather have a 3080 and use the extra money for more monitors
  11. Budget (including currency): $3,500 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming at 4K or over if there's any monitors that have a high refresh rate like 120hz +. I will be using it for web app development and Photoshop and school Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I want to buy most things during Cyber Monday/Black Friday. The only thing I think I won't be able to get tell next year is the Nvidia 3080, I want that graphic card specifically. I also want to pick up the Ryzen 9 5900X on the 5th. Hopefully I will be able to, if not I can wait. Suggest something better if you would like I also would like at least 32 gb of RAM and in the future have space to upgrade more if necessary. Keyboard, head phones and a mouse won't be included in the budget, but please suggestions . I want a triple monitors setup. One monitor being 4k or higher at 120hz or higher for gaming. The other two monitors I would like them to be to be 27" inch 1440p for coding/development. I don't know what hz to get, but I assume at least 144hz? I would like water cooling if that would be better for my CPU and GPU and a great case that has good air flow good cooling fans stock so I don't have to upgrade them, but also somewhat quite. RGB is cool, but I don't mind if the build doesn't have it. I also need a good recommendation for a good dual monitor PC mount. I heard this is good ViewSonic LCD-DMA-001 Dual Monitor Mounting Arm with Vesa Mount up to Two 24" Monitors, but only can support 24" max! like I said above id like 27inch for the dual monitor setup. I also need my power supply to support everything and upgrades in the future PS if you don't use all the budget that will just go towards the monitors, but don't worrie if you do. Thank you for everyone that helps!
  12. I have about 5 TV's picked out. I'm pretty sure they all support HDMI 2.1 and are 120hz some have better low input lag Thoughts on spending the extra $500-$1000 for OLED
  13. Anything above 32" and yeah looking for the 120 hz, so I can take full advantage over next gen
  14. I've had some off brand 1080p TV for about 5 years now. I've been thinking about upgrading for a while now. I always see cheaper 4k TV's on Amazon or at Costco, but I'm not totally sure if they're worth the buy. I'm looking not to spend over $2,000.00 on a new 4K TV. I just think that's crazy, unless your a enthusiast or want a huge Oled TV. I want something that is true 4k and supports next Gen Consoles up to 120hz hdmi 2.1 . A OLED option would be perfect if it's for a good deal. I don't care about sound. I already have a home surround system. Edit: Anything above 32" inches I am willing to wait tell Cyber Monday week on Amazon or Black Friday. Thanks guys! P.S I really don't want to have to get a 1440p TV.
  15. what are some good ssd options?
  16. IDK seems like a waste of money like you said the 3950 is a waste so why bother going with the 4000 series
  17. I see. Why would I upgrade to a 4900 if a 3900 or 3950 is more then enough for my needs.
  18. Lol paying a extra $200-400 for a good pre built is worth 4 hours of my time
  19. Might just have to wait for my build tell September or October
  20. Why would AMD realise a new chips when they just did last year
