Matrox hasn't released a GPU in a very long time, Parhelia-512?! .. don't recall exactly - it's been more than a decade since Matrox has actually worked on a GPU

The performance difference between the 2 is indeed pretty much nothingBtw. Wireless charging is great for not screwing up your micro usb port

DisplayPort supports higher resolutions and color depth than dual link DVI.
If you have a standard 1080p (or 1920x1200) monitor then it makes no difference.
Both will get you the same image quality as they are digital.
If I had to sort connectors from worst to best:
VGA < HDMI < DVI < DisplayPort
HDMI, despite digital and can acheive 4K at 30Hz (not 60Hz like DisplayPort), it is very iffy, and has all sorts of problems due to poor implementation of monitor to graphics card communication system, making you have to play with over scan, under scan settings to make it work, or the image is cut or zoomed in, and all sort of problem. Even someone here has a problem where it works fine, but in a game, the monitor goes out of range. HDMI is best to be avoided for max reliability, and easy connectivity experience.

That monitor doesn't have hdmi so what are using?
DP offers 8bit color while hdmi is limited to 6bit but that only really matters on professional monitors.

Edit: If you're someone who's never tried anything under 20, you need to try some stuff... There are some very interesting stuff out there... Like the fun-sounding TDK EB300...
