Checked idle temps again last night without doing anything to the system temps were 22C on all cores accept core 1 was 28C I think those are more respectable temps

I think I have found the problem I might need to turn my d5 pump up to 2 or 3 I don't think 1 is giving enough flow I might find my temps are a bit better if I do this.

I think once the air is all out the loop and I have changed the paste temps will go down I also need to change one of the fans because it has a noisy bearing and will end up annoying me over time luckily I bought a couple extra fans. 4.3ghz seems to be common with the 5960x maybe I will try reach that

I have the Asus R5E mobo with waterblocks so I can't say exactly. 54 doesn't sound too high, given that your VRM section should be 80-90 under load

    Hi, guys

So I have just finished building my desk mod PC still a few bits to do here and there but pretty much built and useable but I wanted to check CPU temp were good I am running dual 360mm rads for the cpu and a separate loop for the gpu's using dual 360mm rads my CPU at idle is currently 36C on hottest core the rest are 30-32C at 100% load I was topping out at 58C on the hottest core are these reasonable temps for the 5960X and lastly motherboard is running at 40C Idle and 54C 100% load

    Cheers guys

Here's the temps when idle and at stock at the moment I'm not sure if the temps are quite right for some reason i'm sure they should be lower but then i'm not use to having a 8 core 16 thread cpu gpu's are both at 36C idle

EDIT: Just stressed testing it now and it's hitting 50C at stock is that reasonable?

Hey guys hope you like the desk so far I have uploaded some pictures now some parts are in all I need now is the reservoirs from Scan they take ages when expecting stock in but hopefully they will soon be here so I can finish this desk build.

Thanks @PumaXCS for the tip to rotate the motherboard combined with my idea to put the power supply at the bottom is has solved a major issue I was having.

Excuse the Mess guys been working on a fair few projects lately
Here's the top of the desk nearly complete.
The Motherboard in the background is a dummy board that no longer works but works great for test fitting lol

3 meters is the rated max length for a copper display port cable at full bandwidth transmission.

But yeah for more business/industrial uses there are active DP cables that can go as far as 33m, and fibre DP cables too for 15m. But they do of course come with a very very heavy price.

Also there are no DP 1.2 version cables! All DP cables run all the standards
