na no one is too poor 4 me lol I don't judge people on what they have as gadgets everyone lives within their means and tbh I only have a 1440p screen as I got it dirt cheap from ebay it did have a busted LCD but I got a new LCD and replaced it now it work fantastic Well Acer fitted it I just paid the fee to have the LCD replaced

gonna be honest at native resolution my 1680x1050 22" looks identicle to my 2560x1440p 27" in games but then I don't really pay close enough attention to cliffs and the distance to notice much difference

1080p at 27" or smaller? 1080p at 22" would look better than 27" 1080p in theory anyway

? I should say photo's but then a 21mp photo won't be seen to it's full quality on a monitor anyway so yeah it will look the same on most screen although might look sharper at 4k never tried so I wouldn't know and don't plan on 4k for a very long time....

I could probably believe text pixel's are visible I have a 22" 1680x1050 as a secondary monitor and I can see pixels on text but images look the same as on my 1440p screen tbh

Yeah I was also considering going back to 1080p native as 1080p on a 1440p screen looks rubbish compared to native due to the stretching I know I have a GTX1080 but in a lot of AAA games it struggles at 1440p to even get a constant 60fps it's not as good as it's hyped to be yeah in some games it's great and hits the upper 100fps mark but not in every title and I end up having to tune settings back or resolution even in overwatch I have dynamic reflections off and AA off as it dips below 100fps which I like to stay within that range and then there is dishonoured 2 that doesn't even run great at 1080p let alone 1440p

Hi, I currently have a 1440p 144hz monitor, and have tried to go back to using 60hz but I just can't go back to using 60hz, it feels super unsmooth to me now however I like the look of ultrawides but the 1440p version are either 60hz or super expensive for 100hz. So I recently saw the new LG 144hz IPS 2560x1080 34" ultrawide with 1ms response time IPS, (however they managed that lol) and have heard 34" ultrawide at 1080 is about the same as 27" 16:9 at 1080p, I was wondering does it really look as bad as people say? Going with that monitor I would lose out on Gsync but going to be honest in my opinion Gsync isn't that great and I actually might get an AMD gpu at some point if Nvidia doesn't start performing better in DX12 titles. oh yeah I thought about that myself could that be the issue then I never had this issue with MSI and never bothered updating my bios lol I thought it was just an Asus and Corsair compatibility issue but the ram is in the booklet as compatible so I will try new bios first

Hi, I got 2 new 16gb 3000mhz kits of corsair ram for a total of 32gb both are identical kits bought at the same time however just like before when I had my 64gb kit of corsair ram i'm getting BD error code on my pc when I cold boot only as soon as I hold the power button and try again it works it's getting irritating tbh and only seems to happen on Asus motherboards I use to use MSI mobo's and had no problem but I really liked the look of the Asus Strix and USB C capability so sold my MSI Xpower and got the strix x99 but as soon as I got the Asus mobo my 64gb kit started having this issues with BD qcode so I bought a new 32gb kit and still same issue I am running it at auto 2133mhz at the moment. Have had the board changed twice so not a board issue.

I returned mine and got a replacement but I changed for brown switches I prefer brown switches to reds tbh

yes on my bad the keyboard is making me type weird because I have to use shift to keep it all lower case cause caps is stuck on I tried to press it hard and gently but it won't turn off I don't know if it's a keyboard issue or not but I plugged in a spare K55 that I have and it works fine on that keyboard it's really strange

Hi, I did post this in the keyboard section but it might be better here I bought a new corsair K70 Lux RGB and when I press caps lock it turns on but when I want to turn caps off I press the same caps lock key but it won't turn off caps. Any ideas what could be causing this issue? Kind Regards

Hi Just got a K70 lux when I press caps it turns on caps lock but when I hit the same key again it won't turn off caps I have to press shift and it turns off caps lock. Any ideas on whats going on with this? Thanks

The corsair and Kingston are around the same price it was the crucial that was a lot cheaper but it's because it's a CL16 kit i'm now looking at the Kingston hyper x savage 2666mhz CL13 or the Corsair Vengeance 3000mhz CL15 bit worried that the corsair will play silly with my motherboard again though

The Crucial Kit Arrived but one stick is dead so I have setup a return to amazon and am now looking at either Corsair Vengeance 3000mhz CL15 or Kingston HyperX Fury 2666mhz CL13 and I plan to move from 5960X to 7700k just because I am having a lot of trouble keeping my 5960X cool even at stock with a h115

yeah that was what I was saying lol although in one video I watched he did get better minimum fps but averages stayed the same but never 10fps gains

maybe that is the case I will probably return the ram when it arrives and get the Cas15 stuff I know the difference will be minimal but I was using corsair cas 15 ram before and don't want to take a downgrade the only reason I went with crucial this time was I used it in all my builds when DDR3 was the norm and never had issues like I have had with corsair ram it causes post issues for some reason yet when I do a mem test all stick are good apparently

May actually return the ballistix elite when they arrive in that case and get the tacticals for the extra £15 they are cas 15 3000mhz and the ones I ordered are 2666mhz at cas 16

Awesome looks good from what I've seen this will be my first coolermaster case only had NZXT and Corsair NZXT wins on quality out of the two but Corsair wins on Customer Service lol

So the Tactical is actually the better ram the elite just looks better on paper because of it's little features like temp probes which I thought all ram modules had some type of temperature probe maybe i'm wrong but hardware monitor has always given me a ram temp
