  1. Might just get a K70 lux with MX browns I think I can use the Num pad as macros if needed their must be something new about the Lux whether it's the internal processor or something
  2. Yeah, thats why i'm wondering what the difference is cause they never released a K95 Lux unless thats coming with CES 2017
  3. The old K70 did come in an RGB variant and a red variant
  4. Hi, Other than the Key font and the usb pass through what is the difference between the lux and non lux K70.
  5. I think I am gonna get either MX speed, MX reds or Browns. I read blues are more for typing than gaming.
  6. I only like RGB keyboards so I can set solid colors of my choice
  7. Do you guys know what the difference between the lux and non lux are?
  8. Browns might be my best option as I don't want them to be heard on the mic
  9. I have a rough idea what I want, I don't want reds as I made way too many typing errors on reds, so I suspect speed switches are out as well as they are just a faster red, so it's between browns and blues or razer greens. I tried a roccat keyboard with browns and they felt better than my current brown switches
  10. yeah I hear razer doesn't have the best quality though but the only razer thing I have owned was a Kraken headset and those aren't great but I haven't touched their keyboards or mice before mostly due to the cost of them but now I can get them at similar price to the corsair stuff I put them into consideration I also like the look of the Asus Claymore but that is uber expensive and doesn't have a mouse that is a good price and rgb like the keyboard.
  11. So my options I am personally looking at is the Corsair K70 Lux + M65 Pro or the Razer Black Widow X Chroma with a Death Adder Chroma Mouse
  12. The main thing I'm looking at is what keyboard mouse combo would be best for fast paced games i know it comes down to personal preference but I have no way in trying out the two mice and keyboards I am cosidering I hear good stuff about the razer death adder as a gaming mouse but if I go with razer mouse I have to go with a razer keyboard as i'm the sort of person that likes mouse and keyboard to match so I don't have loads of software installed for them. On the other hand I have heard the Corsair M65 Pro has the best Optical sensor on the market
  13. But aren't the new Razer Greens pretty much razers own version of blues aimed at gamers?
  14. I currently have browns but when I moved to browns I noticed no difference from reds I use to have
  15. Hi, Just wondering why cherry MX blues are hard to find they are out of stock of the K70 in blues at most places I have looked. I am looking for a new mechanical keyboard I am stuck with which switches will be best for gaming but not be too loud I was looking at either the black widow X from razer or the K70 Lux if only a K95 Lux was available I would be sold if that were the case. Thanks
  16. Might have to do a bit more research into razer and corsair, I've read razers quality isnt great.
  17. does it have this click delay I have read about or is that a load of rubbish
  18. I got one for christmas as well however the scroll wheel didn't work so I had to return it and now before I order a new one I am looking at a few other mice I hear a lot about the razer death adder being the best fps mouse but I have no way in trying this mouse because no shops have them on display I am also unsure what keyboard would be better out of the razor and the corsair I have used MX red and browns for mechanical keyboards so have no idea how razer switches feel nor the MX speed one but I hear the MX speeds ar a lot like reds but slightly heavier feeling
  19. Hi, So I keep reading that the Corsair M65 has built in acceleration and click delay is this still the case with the newer M65 Pro I am asking, as I am looking at getting a new mouse and Keyboard either the M65 Pro and K70 Lux cherry MX Speed or the Razer Death Adder Chroma with the Black Widow X Chroma with the Razer green switches Obviously the choice is personal preference unfortunetly shops where I live don't have these kind of thing on display to test so I have to do a lot of research and ask about. The main question i'm looking for an answer is does the M65 still have these acceleration issues people post about or is it fixed in the m65 pro model. Thanks
  20. I was going to suggest the be quiet! pure power 9 because be quiet! fans are near silent. but the G2 is good
  21. I just looked at my ticket for the AX750 the issue was slightly different with that one. The USB devices kept disconnecting they said it was a faulty 5v rail or something
  22. I never use the top DPI on the M65 mine is like on the middle preset not 100% dure what dpi that is but I think it's somewhere around 4000. The deathadder is light because it was built for competetive games like CS:GO and it is easier to flick shot with that mouse because of the weight and shape the corsair one is a nice weight I tend to leave all the weights in tbh haven't tried it without the weight in the bottom. I have my issues with Razer stuff however they are like Apple when it comes to pricing a little high for what you get but when on sale their stuff is worth it imo. The only thing that has conserned me about my m65 is I have read it has a high click delay
  23. I have both the M65 and M65 Pro RGB versions not a lot of difference if i'm honest I never noticed the laser acceleration everyone goes on about on my old m65 although I tried a friends Razer Death Adder Chroma and now I want one lol feels so nice and the back and forward buttons on the side are slightly better positioned
  24. Lol they are good except I don't find their cases to be great I've had a lot of corsair cases the best one I have worked on is the 330r it feels super solid and I like the whole quiet thing about it. I currently have the 780t it's an ok case but the middle latch for the side panel was a stupid design flaw my rear side panel pivots on the middle latch due to cables in the back and it's a litte too big and the Air 540 was alright but the hdd sleds are too stiff mine broke just trying to get them out and I didn't even put much force on them as I was worried they'd break their keyboards however are really good other than the backlighting compared to some is dull I think they are pretty good I think the strafe beats the k70 when it comes to lighting but the non-braided cable puts me off that keyboard at £120 I would expect a braided cable
