About Me

How I came to the forum

I've been watching LinusTechTips on YouTube since November 5, 2012, and I never knew that Linus was going to make a forum until May 3, 2013. Once I saw the forum, I made an account so I can learn more about technology, and help people who needed help.

About me

I have a soft spot in my heart for technology. I've built 2 PCs this year so far... None of which are mine. I really want to build one, but dont have much money right now... I guess I'll stick to my current PC.

Forum experiences

So far, the forum has been going on super smoothly, except for a few bumps here and there. I think this is the friendliest forum I've been on in a long while. Once you post a topic, you'll usually get a reply in 3 minutes or less. Im usually clicking the F5 button, and checking for new topics that get posted. When I'm not mashing the F5 button, Im usually in the watercooling section, the CPU, Motherboards, and Memory section. Sometimes, you'll find me in the General Discussion and the Off Topic threads too.

My current rig

I don't have a custom built PC, but I do have a pretty good computer for the money that I paid. I was using an old Macbook 13" White Unibody for the past 4 years (Since 2009), and it started to die on me. My brother just bought an Alienware X51, and he decided he needed a laptop more because he travels a lot, so he sold his X51 to me for $600 and bought an Acer Aspire S7.

Alienware X51 Specs:

Intel i7-3770 @ 3.7 Ghz, 1.32 V

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Core clock @ 1.0 Ghz, memory @ 1400Mhz

16GB DDR3 1600 RAM

1TB 7200 HDD

Peripherals:

Asus PA248Q 1920x1200

Mad Catz R.A.T 7 Albino Edition

Steel Series QcK XL Evil Geniuses

Coolermaster Quickfire Pro/Das Keyboard

Bose Companion 5

Conclusion

Thank you for reading all of this. :) If you need to ask any questions, feel free to PM me.
