  1. I see. I'll try taking the memory out and trying different ones and what not. What about the CPU, I don't think the cooler I attached is too tight on it. That couldn't be a problem either right?
  2. What about CPU? The temperature rise to like almost 70 Degree Celsius, but I heard for the FX 8350, that's normal. Also, memory shows up fine in the BIOS, so could it still be a problem?
  3. I have not tried that simply because the person wants Windows.
  4. Hey everyone, so i recently built my friend a PC based on AMD (I know I should have told him to wait for Ryzen but he needed it so I had no choice but to build him something). The build was completed and powered on and everything. The specs are listed at the end of the post. The problem is that when I go to install Windows 7 or Windows 10. The dots come on for Windows 10 sometimes with the Windows logo or sometimes it just overlaps the MSI 970 Gaming logo and just goes blank. Same thing for Windows 7, the entire "Windows is configuring White text with a loading bar comes and just give a black screen with a cursor. I've tried various things such as remaking the bootable device, trying to use UEFI and Legacy + UEFI method by creating both types of bootable media with no results in site. Also, there is one other HDD in there which might have Windows on it, but it still shouldn't affect me creating a fresh install right? But thats not even the problem since the bootable device just stops working... I am getting frustrated because of not knowing the problem and trying to figure it out. So I turned to you folks who have helped me tremendously in the past with my problems in PC building to see if someone can help me in this matter. Is it the motherboard configurations? The compatibility? The way I'm installing Windows? Any guidance will be very appreciated! 5. Nope. It's the card. I actually tested out my PC without the card and everything was running perfectly fine. When I put it back in with everything installed, my card was just acting weird with the screen blinking constantly.
  6. Just tried it. Same problem. So I'm guessing it is the GPU?
  7. I have the MSI one but it said that it's recommended but not required since the overall power consumption is 161W. I'll try your method again, but at this point I'm not sure what else to do
  8. I see your point. But then how come it was working perfectly fine for the past 8 months? That doesn't make any sense.
  9. I got the GPU back in June. recently meant in the past 8 months. I tried your method as well. Still the same result. I'm confident my powersupply has enough juice. My PC needs around 400Watts of power at most. I have a 430Wattts.
  10. I'll give this a shot, but the problem is that this didn't happen before. I played Far Cry 3 and other games on it for hours with the same settings I had before and everything worked perfectly fine. I have a Corsair CX430 for the PWS.
  11. Yeah man... Just when I got done with midterms and was getting excited to play Assassins Creed Rogue on PC Yeah will probably do that.
  12. Yeah.... Its my GPU. I did a GPU stress test and it shut down after going to 52 Degress Celcius. I didn't even overclock it. Should I call the manufacturers?
  13. So I did the system memory check first and then I used the other software people usually use. Should I still perform a GPU check?
  14. How can i check that while gaming? Also I'm just running a stress test using Prime95 and the Temprature is at 62 Degress Celsius Conastant max. I just recently got my GPU the R9270X so I'm not sure if that's the problem. How can i check?
  15. So this is happening to me for a bit now. I'm gaming on my PC and suddenly the screen turns like the picture below and everything becomes unresponsive. Happens within 10 minutes of playing. I updated the drivers for me PC and GFX and its still giving me the same problem. Anyone know what the solution to this is? My specs for the PC are in the link. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/Fulbring/saved/#view=zbV7YJ Any help would be appreciated. The games I ran were Call of Duty Advance Warfare and Assassins Creed Rogue. Edit: i just realized I kinda posted in the wrong section, although the problem is graphics related. If mod feels the need to move it, please do!
