  1. I have recently bought a Duronic DMDCL1X1 which is a monitor plus laptop arm/stand to to some uni work, now that we are all quarentined and all. I also bought a USB KVM to run all my Keyboard and mouse etc inputs to my laptop and gaming desktop. So i was wondering how would i do that same thing but for me headphones. I have a pair of Superlux HD618B and a ModLion Ant Mic Is there a way i can connect both the mic and hphone inputs to both pcs and toogle between the 2 just like i do with my KVM ?
  2. I just posted a picture above. would that work good ?
  3. wow! Thanks for the graph it rly helped! would somthing like this work ?
  4. Ye i've searched around and all i come up were some very complicated posts using Virtual Audio Cable and such Will the Mixerallow me to separate skype from in game sounds ? 50 bucks seems like a good price! Thanks for the sugestion
  5. 1. Hey guys, i Know this seems a real noob question but, i recently built my first ever pc and started a small streaming Twitch.tv channel. Is there a way i can seperate the audio sources ? (game sounds, from Skype/TS). I've heard some people that were able to seperate using a Astro A40 MixAmp or something. Do i need a DAC or something else. Maybe some software that allows me to do that ? 2. Also, my next upgrade is going to be a sound revamp aka Studio mic, arm mount, a USB interface like the Scarlett 2i2. Can you guys recommend any good bang for buck mic/USB Interf combo ?
  6. WHat ? xDD if you asked if i had a monitor do i don't i've been gaming on a Laptop since like 8years ago
  7. Thing is good 750w PSU go for around 130/150 while 650 or even 550 gor for 110/130 i prefer to use and extra 15 and get higher wattage ( for SLI or something down the line). 12/20 is some saving yes but now as much as 130+ on the CPU. Maybe i can change the MOBO for the Ranger but idk...
  8. I got the 16Gb like dirt cheap 67€ which is ddr3 8gbs price, used cooler why ? The MOBO i can understand it is a bit expensive over something like the Z170 Pro gamer or the Z170-A from asus
  9. Things is saving more 150€ would make me without a pc for at least 2 more months
  10. Hey guys! So my question is on the title should i get the i5 + 144hz 1080p monitor or the i7+ 60hz 1080p IPS. I have a fixed budget for it around 500/600€ for both of those. I already have all the other parts for my first ever build (yey). It will be mostly used for gaming and some streaming (nothing fancy just a you know stream for friends and stuff couple dozen views tops). And i will be playing some FPS games. CS:GO, BF4 (cause i'll be able to finaly run that game) and the typical games, LoL, WoW, War Thunder etc etc. Is the "downgrade" on the cpu worth it for the 144hz screen or should i just go with the i7 get a good IPS and then maybe next year get a 144hz/1440p monitor and use this IPS as secundary monitor ? (I can get the i5 for around 250€ and a good 144hz 1080p monitor for 270/280€ = 530ish. Whille the i7 goes more towards the 400€ mark + decent Asus 24'' IPS for about 150/170€=600ish) DISCLAIMER: I don't have any monitor since both me and my younger sister have laptops. I have a 8 year old Laptop with like a i3 M330 and a ATi Radeon 4500 with like 512MB of RAM Rest of the Build: MOBO: Asus Z170 ROG Hero GPU: EVGA GTX 980 Reference CPU COOLER: Be Quiet! Dar Rock Pro 3 RAM: 16GB Hyper X Fury Black 2133 PSU:Corsair RMx 750W 80+Gold Modular CASE: Fractal Design Define S
  11. Thank you for the quick answers guys! I guess i'll go with Z97+i7. I'm sure the hypertreading will help with my streaming endeavors . I'll be sure to make a build log once i have all the parts. Btw should i expect anything great in terms of OC with the Hyper 212 EVO ? Maybe somthing like 4.4Ghz ?
  12. Hey everyone i know that this question seems kind of stupid but i really don't know which to go for It will be primarily for gaming and some mild streaming for my friends nothing professional. I'll be playing most of the eSports titles (LoL, CS:GO) some WoW and so on. A caveat of my choice is that i want to go for a m-atx build. i just like the idea of a very powerful gaming machine that is "mobile". The issue here is that the Z170 + i5 option is like 40/50€ cheaper than the Z97 + i7 combo. is the newer chipset/ddr4 worth the i7 to i5 "downgrade" ? Also i do intend to do a custom WC build on it next year (not sure if that's important) Thanks in advance, and have a good weekend rest of the build: PSU: Cooler Master V750 80+ Gold (already owned) CASE: Thermaltake Core V21 CPU COOLER: CM Hyper 212 EVO (already owned) HDD: WB Blue 1TB 7200 RPM GPU: EVGA GTX 980 (already owned) RAM: 8GB Hyperx Fury DDR3/4
