Professor Chaos's Achievements

  1. So, umm is this better than Indium corporation Heat-Spring®? Could make another video in which you compare these two TIMs? http://www.indium.com/thermal-interface-materials/heat-spring/
  2. My friend and I played a game that only I had. I was't connected to steam. You should be able to play in LAN against/with your friends.
  3. So I should get that HD7950 and try to unlock it? I know that my cousin plays World of Tanks, Path of Exile, Minecraft. He will play games like Forza Horizon 3 and Battlefield 1 once he get a pc that can run them
  4. I'm 100% sure that I can find an used GPU that is more powerful than those.
  5. I am building a cheap gaming PC for my cousin and I can't choose which GPU to buy. GPU options I have atm are: Asus DC2 GTX 660 2Gb 45€ Gigabyte windforce GTX 660Ti 2Gb 50€ Palit Jetstream GTX760 2Gb 70€ HIS iPower IceQ Radeon HD7850 2Gb 45€ Sapphire Dual-X HD7870 XT 2Gb 65€ Sapphire Dual-X HD7950 3Gb 80€ Gigabyte Windforce HD7970 GHz 3Gb 90€ specs: CPU: Intel Xeon E5450 LGA771 to 775 mod (will be overclocked) MOBO: Asus P5Q Pro RAM: 4x2GB 1066MHz PSU: 550W XFX TS550 Case: Bitfenix Neos
  6. Intel didn't like that people overclocked non-K processors, and released a BIOS update for Z170 mobos to stop that. So you'll need a mobo that BIOS hasn't been updated
  7. run CDI(CrystalDiskInfo) and check if there are any warnings.
  8. Do you have windows installed on SSD or HDD? If on HDD it just might take sometime to load stuff. IF on SSD make sure that it is not full, since full SSD tend to get slower
  9. I'd wait for AMD Zen and Intel Kaby lake and then see which one has better performance/dollar ratio. They will be released in H1/2017
  10. I overclocked my GTX 1060 little further and got nearly 15k Graphics score on Fire Strike http://www.3dmark.com/fs/9624556
  11. barely: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/9598292 it wont go through with any higher clocks. E: I think i didn't win in silicon lottery
  12. Benchmark: Fire Strike CPU: Intel Xeon E3 1230V3 GPU: MSI GTX 1060 Armor OC GPU Core: 2000Mhz GPU Memory: 2 076 MHz Score: 11064 3DMark Link: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/9593146
  13. Gaming setup: Keyboard: Microsoft Sidewinder X4 Mouse: Logitech G300 Headset: Qpad QH-90 Mousepad: Steelseries QCK
  14. I am currently using a Radeon HD7950 with HD7970 BIOS atm which isn't stable on stock voltages. And it is not powerful enough to run latest titles like GTA V or DOOM on ultra 1080p@60fps. I am going to upgrade my monitor(s) to 1440p during upcoming fall/autumn which means I am going to need more powerful GPU, I've not decided yet if I am going to stay in red team, but a free GPU would definitely help me to decide.
  15. I really like the size of this thing, it would be a perfect Lan pc or HTPC. The only reason im interested about this thing is its size. It is amazing, how much power you can pack in this small case and make it run cool enough.
