    I can also add a vote towards the 5.11 system. I've had a 24 for most of my camping/hiking trips (the larger 72 is ironically too big for a 3-day) with a MOAB 10 attached for quick back and forth runs to fish, hunt, gather.

      Nah, it's the same reason Florida man wears a jacket at 63. Acclimation. Once the weather drops to freezing, I have to wear a coat for a week or two, then as it cools off you're kind of used to it. Then you hit the cold snap (usually about -40F/C at my house) and that's just too cold. Then it starts to warm up and you forget the jacket.

    Took accounting 1 and 2 and Consumer Mathematics in high school. The more people see how much it takes an individual to rent an apartment, buy groceries, penny pinch to the limit, the more they wonder why they work for a market system that invariably keeps you down unless you get lucky or work too hard to make it worthwhile.
