You can ask @Volbet how to move to Denmark. Just be wary that income tax is around 50%.

But the healthcare and education tend to be free and pay tends to be higher, so it's offset and paid for between the two.

That's ok, it's better to start from scratch and make the move to Universal Health care.  Have the cost come directly out of the paycheck to make it streamlined.

@captain_to_fire It's rather difficult, unfortunately. There has been a lot of reform to the immigration area in the last 20 years, so getting in is pretty tough.

If you have a job or is going to study it's somewhat easy, but even then it can be an exercise in futility.

Also, whole income tax thing is a bit iffy. The theoretical rate is somewhere between 47% and 64%, but after certain deductibles you often end up with a much lower effective tax rate.

The wages are also quite a bit higher to compensate.

I think conservatives in America are quite a special breed. The conservative party of Canada won’t even dare to repeal their single payer universal healthcare. I think @Volbet can correct me on this but even their conservatives won’t propose repealing universal healthcare.

Our politicians are old, decrepit, and ridiculous. Unfortunately, they delay their conjugation with the dinosaurs.

@captain_to_fire The Conservative Peopl's Party certainly won't, but there are a couple of libertarian parties that would.

Although, even they won't come out the gate with a full on defunding of the healthcare system. Usually, they'll just call for promoting private health (which, yes, does exist as an alternative) or reforming and restructuring the current healthcare system.

    This reminds me:

I don’t think ACA is full blown single payer universal healthcare just yet. The US can try adapting Singapore’s combination of private insurance and single payer healthcare.
