  1. Great product by LG at nice price, would love to have one as a student, coz can't drill any holes in the ceiling for normal projectors in rented condo :))) so short throw projector would be best. And Linus - nice video, we value all the effort that went into this short but quality video

    Scythe Ninja 4

Hello everybody does anybody here has Scythe Ninja 4 cooler? what temps are you getting? I have i7-4790K CPU and we've got heatwaes currently in Lithuania of up to 35 degrees C, so I bought the new cooler to change my stock cooler. And on idle I get around 40 degrees, the same as with stock cooler, under load it's around 65, which is good. So would be nice to hear other people experience with the particular cooler. Thanks
  3. M12-II EVO good enough? or should I go to S12G. What's so wong with corsair? Any other good brands? How's fractal design? Silverstone? Better Cooler master ? Zalman psu's?
  4. Unfortunately we dont have EVGA Psu down here, it pretty much Corsair or Seasonic for me here.
  5. Hello Everybody, Last summer I have bought a pre-built PC (it was my first Tower in long time so didn't want to build it myself as I haven't done so since circa 2005) So the PC components were CPU: i7 4790K, stock cooler RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8Gb MB: MSI B85M-P33 HDD: Seagate Baracuda 7200RPM 1TB PSU: Qori ATX 550W generic piece of poop with 12cm fan but still loud Case : HAVANA 535R mATX generic piece of crap, pics: https://goo.gl/78xhgk So straight away I have put in my Samsumg 840EVO SSD from laptop as an OS drive, and ordered an ATI R7 250X GPU. Recently swaped the MoBo to Asus z97m plus and RAM to Crucial ballistix tactical 16GB CL8 kit. So the question remains which PSU to upgrade to? I'm eyeing Corsair RM650 or Corsair CS650M as the price is right for me, don't wanna spend too much. For the case I'm conisdering Cooler master Silencio 452. For the cooler I'm thinking about Arctic Freezer i30 PC uses: ocasional video editing, lots of lightroom, rare gaming, lots of browsing and movie watching... So I would like it to be as quiet as possible, and not pay too much. Any advice appreciated, I live in Lithuania, so many things are quite pricey compared to US
  6. Temps are really good, I'm surprised that zalman worked so well, but as you can see the fan is really close to it, so you could say it's more than semi passive, but it's silent and that's cool. Yeah just uploaded some pictures, it's already in my sisters place so that's all she sent me Didn't think to take any pics during the build =] How effective are the ruber washers? And also those rubber fan mounts? It's the first time I could hear the hdd spining i i listen carefuly enough in a quiet room, I guess it's just the way it is with this case.
  7. Hello everybody I have built my sister a PC last weekend, and would like to have some feedback and advice. The goal of the build was powerful and silent pc on a budget. Will be used for light video and photo editing (Premiere Pro, Lightroom 6), ocassional gaming and lots of web browsing. So the PC turned out really quiet except for some rumble from HDD sometimes, I connected both fans to the cpu header as Arctic allows to daisy chain PWM signal with their PST technology fans, because when I tried to connect Fan to motherboard fan header the minimum speed it allowed me to set was 50% and the fan was then spinning at 1300RPM and was quite audible, now both fans spin at 565 RPM and are inaudible, PSU fan never spins up as the loads are not high. CPU temps: idle around 29°C and 59°C max under load in benchmarks, I set the case fans to spin up when the CPU reaches 60°C so basically they never do spin up and keep quiet. So what do you think of this build? Any advice how to quiet down the HDD?
