Well would you like the list of 200+ games I own in Steam, all the 5 current games of Blizzard and 3 others I own that are older than you are. I can also throw in Some Evercrack if that would make you happy. GoG.com, Aion and some other I might have forgotten over the years. Oh yes some Quake 1-4 and other id games. Trust me son. The Lightning is impressive and can be OCed to hell and back .It also reaches 80C a lot of times on D3 . All rez is at 1920X1080 144hrz if you must know. The 960's never get over 58C hell the fans rarely fire up its so good. When I seen this I finished my Nightblade build with a i3 and a EVGA 760ti FTW and play WoW and Bf4 . Ultra 25-80 frames on BF4 and 30-118 on WoW. Dont want to think on Far Cry 4 or some more intense games.. I would probably Cry seeing the 2 core 4 thread and a 2 gig 750 FLOP like a fish out of water. LOL .... Anyhow keep reading on my young friend. I got hands on here of my info.

I own both setups i7 with R9 290x lightning and a I5 wit 2 MSI 960 SLI. Fire Strike , Extreme, and valley. All beat 290 but Valley...Call what you may but Yea...Have a nice day

The cooler ill back it up till I die its real good and priced right.. it will cool anything. 5 pipes in there so yea. also gives extra hooks for push pull. GL to your decision.

IMO 1st card be the 980Ti hands down 2nd just for gaming To save on cash and have top end performance I would do what I did with my i5 I would go with the 2 MSI 960's 4gig and call it a day. Both score much higher than my 290X lightning and even though I am Team Red fan of the past. Well ... Yea I have lost all hope for AMD.

This is the Hammer that hit the nail on the head. Who cares what you got and what it does. If it suits you and you get the job done and are satisfied with what you got. Then guess what. that is all that matters. OH YEA!! I myself own 3 towers. the i7 has a MSI R9 290X Lighning. 2nd is a i5 with SLI MSI 960's and last but not least the Nightblade is a i3 with a EVGA 750ti FTW.

They are basically all the same. Just more junk on the 295's is all .

4K on a 960 @30 fps is hard enough. BUT A 690!? Wow... He needs an upgrade to something big. 6-8 Gb VRAM and some good cooling. Go for a 980 Ti if you can. this is Why you buy 2 of the 4gig 960's. It will do 4K nicely

Yea I think the forbes post is wrong. That should say 390X VS 980ti . I myself am going to wait till 2nd or 3rd set of Drivers gets released. Too early to Compare 100%.Also Itachi.. might want to look at Newegg. I got email sales for all AMD 300 series cards today.

Yep.. Lets see R9 290-290X 400-500w minimal Now Power the board,CPU, Cooler Hard drives Case fans Water Cooling setup if he has it OH don't forget. Lights Ut oh I think I see a problem hear 960 would of done you more justice and would of been close to the same thing. You can always return it and get you a 380!!!!!
