    I'm sorry!!! I'm still not understanding. If you formatted and used windows (say)7 to install. You skip the key entry . you have like 4-6 options 1 to re enter the key, to Buy another 1 and also to call the 800 number. Yea? I have done my reinstalls like this for awhile and never needed they key. When you go to the screen to call in it gives you a digits to key/talk to the Bot then after all the keys are entered it asks how many Computers you use this code on etc etc then it gives you the code back . You type it in as you go and windows is active. yea? Or am I missing the bus on this? I normaly do . If so just tell me to shush and ill shush. NVM I haven't played with Win Server. Must be more to the home . So sorry ill shush now

    Sorry HeathClif . I don't patrol the forums on here too much. Makes my head hurt on reading some of the problems etc peeps have on here. Glad there are a lot of tech's on here. Makes for good knowledge

    Ok basic stuff. STEAM will not work the games in a separate folder or drive. they all must be TOGETHER in 1 FOLDER. So I suggest you make a folder name it steam . Put the games file in there then re download steam and also install it BACK into that same folder where the games are. Restart steam then go to the Library and act like you are reinstall the games that you transferred. Steam should re path the install and just make new shortcuts. Should only take a little bit. I recently did this myself. good luck.

    Apologies .. Missed the 16 gig storage line and I hate laptops. Although the MSI GT72 series is slowly changing my mind on them. Anyhow GL!!!!

    You shure can. Im using it on my Desktop now on a M.2. Should be the same for you.

    Btw the games icons will look like saved bookmark pages from websights till steam reinstalls paths etc.

    Re install steam back to where you placed the games. then make new shortcuts. If steam doesnt show the games still then go to install then it should only make a new shortcut and a short update to find these games. MAKE SHURE YOU REINSTALL STEAM WHERE YOU TRANSFERED THE GAMES OR YOU ATR F.U.B.A.R.E.D.

    I have the MSI R9 290X Lightning. It Requires only a 500 PSU. So you should be ok

    Make sure that 4 pin on that 24 connector is seated good also It wiggles out you could run into some probs.

    Try 1 more thing please. I have built countless Gigabyte builds and have ran into this similar problem b4. Do me a favor and take out the ram stick out of slot 1 and put it in slot 2 and try to boot the thing. See if it starts right up. Gigabyte are notorious for having dead/bad ram slots causing this problem for me. Just try it please.

    I got the stupid error last night.. I reinstalled Silverlight and after that came up with another you need to reinstall bla bla bla.. I hit F5 and it reset Starlight and im running fine now.. Try that . If not *shrug* GL!!!!!!!!

    I'm looking at your picture you posted and 2 things I see that is questionable. 1) it seems your pulling air into the case instead of going out of it *blink,blink* 2) the lead to the pump seems to be seated under the mount there. Giving some gap between the copper and the cpu? Maybe? You are also using Corsair Link I assume? is the temps matching whatever else your running? I Also see another 3/4 pin fan header there you got it plugged into the right 1?

    Yep I also agree with a lot here saying they are way overpriced for the quality.. ESPECIALY !!!!!!! on there hed sets. Oh how many RMA's and dieing after 3 months.

    That is all good KenJimmy but I don't think we are talking about your setup. I think the post was made by Niall_wales. Only running I gig video card if he starts to play more intense games with a AMD processer he will need to bump things up if he at least wants to play ore than 30fps. You aren't going to go into BF4 running 4-8 gigs and a 1gig video card and expect smooth play. Not even in storyline.

    1 more post.. I dint see a Video card listed for your build also a aftermarket cooler. If your going stock might be overheating on you. Possibilities !!!!!!!!!!!

    I seen someone asked if the 24 pin was connected.. is the 8pin connected also? also if your using the on board video there is a huge possibility the HDMI ,VGA plug is DOA.
