Cal920c reacted to LinusTech in NCIX declares "Supreme Bankruptcy"
I could already flip it and retire if I really wanted to, realistically. LTT is one of the biggest brands in tech media.

Working hard every day and kicking ass is in my blood though. I love running this company and going to work with a world class team every day.

So I have no intention of selling at this time. One cannot know what the future holds - maybe I'll get cancer and I'll need a way to ensure my family is supported once I'm dead - so I'll never say "never". But selling LMG is absolutely not in the best interest of me, my staff or my community right now.

Floatplane is also built for long term profit and stability. Typically the value of a company is a function of its revenue and profit projections over a relatively short period into the future + any intellectual property.

I suspect that unless here was some kind of reason for absolute desperation it would make far more sense to hold it than to sell it.

That's how we build business around here.

They are selling them for $430http://www.avshop.ca/sound-amp-pa-audio/headphones/over-ear-headphones/sennheiser-hd8-dj-headphones
They also don't offer free shipping (even though they say they do). They charge for shipping insurance or force you to buy expedited shipping for the same price. In total everything comes out to $480.

Well, aside from the "re-allocated sector" count being at 120, it hasn't "failed" but it's been maybe only 5 months?
Checking for errors now after I've completely (long) formatted the drive... Will be checking with seatools as soon as I can find a working USB drive or a blank cd...

    Thanks for putting it simply

I'm no fanboy, believe me. But i've seen the results from various sites, including some linked in this thread. Up to the i3 pricing, there's nothing that compares on the AM3+ Socket. Once you get into the price of the i3 and beyond, AMD is a MUCH more attractive option.
my problem is i have a $90 budget, and i'd rather go Intel dual core because most games i play are demanding on only 1 core, and Intel DEMOLISHES AMD in single core performance

I like damn near anything. From visual novels that are entirely playable on computers from the 90's to games like BF4 and Far Cry
If i had the money, i'd totally get an A8 or A10, preferable Kaveri. In my opinion, A6 and A4 chips are pointless. I'd rather buy on a Haswell platform for the boost in single thread apps

Use the ancient dos text seatools for best results. I wouldnt bother though as the raid card dropped it for a reason.
Who says it was in a raid environment?
You are correct but also see above.

"Full homo" is a colloquial term used to imply that a relationship is sexual rather than platonic.

The "homo" part means that the relationship is between two members of the same sex, so while adaptations could exist that are appropriate for use with a member of the opposite sex, I didn't need to use them because Slick is male, and I am male.

It's about like any other joking around that friends (of same sex, opposite sex or anywhere else on the spectrum) might do. I've said similar crap to girls too, and no one cares about that. As long as everyone involved is comfortable with kidding around in such a manner, then it's all between consenting adults, and everyone else can just move right along.

If anyone was offended, then two things:

    1. I'm sorry your feelings were hurt.

    2. Lighten up.

Upon receiving this keyboard, the first thing i realized, was the amazing build quality. It has a VERY good weight, and has no flex whatsoever. The Cherry MX Brown keys are amazing, they combine tactility with relative silence, and are great for gaming: a definite choice for compromise between typing  and gaming. The individual backlit keys are sexy as hell, and the white lighting, is clean, and great for aesthetic nazis.

    Features:

Grey keycaps for the WASD keys, and the arrow keys 6 Programmable G-keys on the left side(same as the Corsair K90) A mute button, and a sound-adjusting scroll wheel above the tenkey Very clean & modern font on the keycaps, gives it a futuristic feel, but within modesty Media keys & backlight customization keys above the PRNT SCRN area.

All in all, I am VERY satisfied with this keyboard.

Being a typer, AND gamer, this keyboard is the perfect comprimise.

In all honesty, I can recommend this keyboard to ANYONE, whether they're a typer, or a gamer, or both, they will LOVE this keyboard like your 2nd newborn son.

    10/10

Money shot (sorry about the meh quality )

Yup.  I suspected it would only really matter for laptops anyway, but this was posted before Haswell was actually released so there were no numbers on it yet.  And I was tired of thread after thread about whether X PSU is compatible xD

Cal920c reacted to Glenwing in Note on Haswell PSU Compatibility
With all the stir about Haswell PSU compatibility I think it's important to note that if you have a power supply that doesn't support the low power states of Haswell you can simply disable the C6/C7 states in the BIOS and there will be no compatibility issue, the only difference is your idle power draw will be more along the lines of previous CPUs instead of ultra low power which Haswell is capable of.

Thus there is no reason to really make a fuss about this.  All power supplies will be usable with Haswell, just some may require a BIOS setting change.
