Oh shit sony announced the A99 II
12 frames per second, 42MP, hybrid autofocus, 5 axis stabilisation and 4K video, 399 + 79 point hybrid AF

    @Jambls id bet maybe £2000-4000,  not sure, sony have really good prices, and this is aimed at pros

    Has Sony announced it or is it a rumor, I am on Google and all I see at the moment are rumors from months ago.

    Well my Nikon D800E and D4 still work, I see no need to think about switching to another brand, and I have a collection of some of Nikon's best (modern) lenses.

    Sure but seems promising! and no 4k crop! whoop, and the super 35 downsamples from 1,8x 4k a bit like the A6300

    I have a FS7 for video, and when it comes to photography, Nikon's and Canon's Professional Services are still more worldwide than Sony.  Anytime there's a big event (e.g. Olympics, World Cup, Photo conventions, etc.) the NPS and CPS representatives are there offering free sensor cleaning, rental of gear if any of your gear is damaged or stolen (mainly during events and not conventions), etc.

     

    You don't see Sony photo cameras.

    Sony is more worldwide with their broadcast cameras and equipment.

    Yeah sony REALLY need to improve thair pro support, I hear this as a reason a lot, so they should really get that into gear!
